Default Need WOW Ideas re: Heavenly Heralds

Ok, my mom has hired me to make her Christmas Cards with the Heavenly Heralds stamp set. I want her to hire me next year. I need to make STUNNING Christmas cards, wow worthy, I need to make 50 cards. Please help!!!

This is what I want to use

Heavenly Heralds
Musical Score (well actually a similar stamp but same type of thing)
Pearl Ex

Maybe some vellum
and another background stamp like:

I have:
Weathered
Linograph
Print Pattern
Floral
Fine Lace

For maybe a tone on tone look or a Frame of some sort..

Please, what Christmas colors...I like it to connect with Christmas, yet think outside the box!

Gold or Silver Accents?
Blackf?
Very Vanilla or White...

Default Me too

I love the Heavenly Heralds set, and plan to use them myself for some of my cards. I am going to use handsome hunter and bravo burgandy cardstock and emboss the angles with gold glory, then adhere to card. I may dress them up by using gold eyelets or brads. Mom, kid and I all think this will look nice.
Hope it helps!!

Cindy

What about the cold laminate/window sheet technique? Very pretty way to use Pearl Ex!

I like these combo's...

Navy, cream, & gold.

Navy, white, & silver.

I love the glitter that SU! sells also... it would be beautiful on Christmas cards!!

Wink Make samples

If it were my mom, I would not make up 50 cards without FIRST giving her a choice. YKWIM? Make 2 or 3 samples, ask your mom to choose the one she wants you to do.
In case your mom is as "ancient" as I am, one of my favorites has always been midnight blue CS with gold embossing. Brings back memories of childhood. There is a sample here using "Lovely as a Tree" set.

Default Check out the gallery

I would suggest going to the wonderful gallery on this website and looking at what other people have done. Have your mom look at those and at least get an idea for what types of things she likes. You can alter backgrounds or colors to fit tastes.
