Lightbulb Need input/ideas for wedding project

Good morning!
I am going to make Beate Johns' advent calendar for a wedding gift (wedding is in July) and need your help with what I've decided to put in the metal tins. I think it would be fun to use little slips of paper (kind of like what's in a fortune cookie); on each slip I would write something the new bride & groom can do on each day of the calendar for their first Christmas together.

I welcome your input on various things I could write on each of the 25 slips.

I received something similar for my wedding. The giver had written all sorts of date night ideas.
- Rent Christmas movies, pop some popcorn and watch in front of the fire.
- Make cookies together
- S'mores night!
- Pick out matching stockings - have your names embroidered on them.
- Make gifts for the neighbors. (My husband packaged cocoa and mini marshmallows. I baked cookies and made gift tags. We put them in tins and delivered them together one night.)
- Take a romantic stroll to look at Christmas lights, or if you live in a neighborhood that doesn't do them, check the paper for the best displays and drive to see them.
- Gather some friends and go carolling.
- Volunteer at a local food bank or shelter together to serve meals to the needy.
- Go "angel" shopping together. Pick out the name of a needy child at your local mall or Salvation Army and then go pick out a present for the child!
- Host a Christmas cocktail party. Choose a few holiday themed drink recipes. Make appetizers together. Use a photo of the two of you together in the invitations and on drink tags.

There were a ton more, but I sadly don't remember them all. It's packed away in storage so I can't even dig it out to reference. Good luck though!

My mom got a calendar like that this year for Christmas from me...she adores Christmas so here are a few ideas I put that might work for a newlywed (obviously some of my mom's were for her and my dad to reflect!)

- what was your favorite childhood Christmas memory? Share this with each other
- Read the REAL Christmas story together, what struck you this year?
-Read a fun Christmas story together
-Go for a drive and check out the holiday lights together
-Go window shopping together
-Pizza night
-Watch a sporting event together (this was for my dad really)
-Go see a play together

Just a side note, I think I did about 60 slips for hers and made a box to keep the extras in, that way she can change them out and they'll be "new" each year
