Lightbulb Need ideas... how to create a card out of a wedding invitation.

Hello everybody,
I would like to know if someone in the past published or know about ideas to transform a wedding invitation into a card. Using the same elements on the invitation for a card. Someone requested me to use parts of the wedding invite she received on the card to give at the wedding. Sound possible but I have no idea what to do... and since I always look for the this website for ideas I was hoping someone could help me.
I really appreciate any suggestions...

I have done it many times in the past, but only have one in my gallery to show you - it just used a couple of elements though (white ribbon flower, gold ribbon)...

If you can post the invitation, I might be able to give you some suggestions though.

Could you die cut the front of the invite and layer it on some lovely paper like Peacock Greeting by juliestamps - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Or layer on an embossed background and add a big beautiful ribbon bow.
Here's a simple sample but I would definitely add a ribbon bow reason to smile catalog CASE by juliestamps - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Good luck!

I don't know if this will help but this is a card I created from a graduation invite.

I love to use parts of invitations for wedding cards especially now that many of them are colored.
For Amanda & Jake
I think you need to look at the invitation and see what elements you can use. You could cut out flower shapes to layer. You could cut off a border strip. You could use the couples names or wedding date as part of your sentiment. Good luck with your card!
