I am having trouble getting a solid image with my Inspired By Nature stamp set. It doesn't matter how much ink I put on the stamp, the flowers still are uninked in little areas all over. Would rubbing a fine grit sandpaper over the rubberstamp work? I just really want to make some cards with that set and they do not look good at all!!!! Any help would be much appreciated.
Yes, lightly sanding the surface often helps with bold image stamps like that.

You could also treat it like a background stamp. Lay it rubber up and ink it, then put your cardstock down on top of it and rub the paper. To avoid messy fingers just put a piece of scratch paper over the top of your cardstock.
Craft ink (pigment) also works great with solid images like this...

I'm with Betsy, turn that sucker over on it's back and inkerup! The messy fingers-well I still have probs with that!!!
Thanks everyone for your help. I am going to go try the emery board technique and see if that does the trick. I will also try using a mouse pad or magazine under what I am stamping. Thanks again -- this is the best stamping site ever!!
