Default need help clear stamp and block!!!

Hello everyone,
I bought frist time every clear stamp. I peel the backing off of the clear stamps. Like instrcution say too. I place the stamps on clear block. And press on stamp on the block.... But not sticky, It stck to it a little. But, it seem it need to be a little sticky... and I can't tell what side too ink. I tryed it both ways... But I still don't what right? the ink not going stamp real well. What am I doing worng? And I stamp on Us white cardstiock, and some image real dark and smeared and light it not clean and pretty..... can you help me? what happened and what doing wrong? Dose anyone have any tips used clear stamps?

Hey don't panic! You will need to "season" the stamp. What really helped me was to take you stamp image side down and rub it against plain paper, sometimes there a residue that disallows good coverage. Your stamp will stain but don't panic they all do! Archival Black is the worst so try inking it up with clear versamark 1st before this black. It will still stain some but not jet black! Now for the sticky try cleaning the block and the back of the stamp with some soapy water first after they are dry try to place stamp on block. I hope this helps! BR-T

Also remember that you don't have to use quite the same amount of pressure with clear stamps as you do with rubber. It's hard for me...I'm pretty heavy handed, but every time I push too hard, I distort the image or smear it. They do take some getting used to, but they're great!
