He's at Sunset Bowl and we live on the other side of Waukesha. He has to bowl six games today. He loves driving in the snow annd hope it is a blizzard(crazy man). DS and I went to Target and I think we are settled in for the day. I am hoping to get some stamping and ds birthday invitations addressed so they can get mailed next week.
Dawn,
Hope things are going well, just saw your thread. Hope your party is "on". It is awful here. We finally got our driveway shoveled but since they are saying like 10 more inches I'm sure we'll be out there again. Man is it windy too! Hope you are having fun stampin!!!

Here in Iowa,we are having a ice storm. Big bummer also, since my stamp camp got cancelled too. Our tree limbs are hanging low with ice cover on them. I just hope the electricity stays on. It has been flickering. I guess it is a good day to stamp since we can't go no where.
UPDATED......
I HAD MY PARTY WOOHOO.....so far its over 750.00 and i still have 3 orders to get yippie guess the snow gods worked in my favor
Dawn
yeah! that sounds good to me! Think of all the freebies you will be getting, all the SAB sets, a level 1, 2, 3, and $100 of product?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I would be doing the happy dance if I were you! Enlighten me! What are you going to be getting?!?!?!?!?!
everyone left cause i looked at the radar and its getting close to us here in janesville stay safe tonight when you go out!!!!!!! but the party was a huge success regardless of the SNOW..it cant keep us addicts away...lol
Dawn
Yay! I'm so glad you didn't have to cancel! What a great turn out........congratulations! I'm in Lone Rock also...........about 1000 feet from Sue, who posted earlier. Was surprised at the amount we had already this morning, and now I think we're in the calm before the REAL storm! As much as I'm not looking forward to more snow, I'm kind of excited about it...........haven't expected a snow storm like this in quite a few years...........I feel like a little kid!
wow congrats on the party ! ! ! can't wait to hear all about the things you are getting!
there sure are a lot of y'all living in MI!
keep the snow - we are under a tornado watch today and snow tomorrow.
Lovely Kansas weather. LOL !
My friend keeps asking me to have one, but she just doesn't understand that I have no one to invite!! Believe me, I'd *love* to earn a hostess set or two!!!
I'm in Vernon, but she's in the town of Waukesha & I'd probably have it at her house --easier for both of us since she doesn't have kids, & she'd have all her supplies right there
On the other hand, a snowed in stamp party could be a blast!!
Oooohhh, what fun! We are supposed to get it tomorrow as a "wintry mix". We get that a lot. The last one caused so much ice, schools were closed for three days. My sister is supposed to come over tomorrow so I can "teach" her how to scrapbook.

Hmmmm
Michelle - maybe I should do a road trip. I could come to your party. I'm about 150 miles away, but shoot - that's not far to go to help a fellow SCS's out.

Michelle -
Not that I know of. DH's family is all from the Plain / Spring Green area. But they are very prolific - could have family that far away. Just found out a few months ago that my SIL is related to my DH. His grandmother and my FIL were first cousins. Weird huh?
Yep, I would love a road trip to Milwaukee area. Maybe I could even get a car full of fellow SCSers that live near me to come. Hint hint Cathi! I know we would have a good time at your party.

hey i think i have been to waukesha for the big car show they have there its about a hr away or so from me....to bad you arent closer we could do a stampin day one weekend....
Here in the beautiful city of Coon Rapids the plows have not been arround, the noone seems able to get up the culdesac,my snow removal team has just come in and the circle driveway has been cleared,I love our driveway but do feel bad for them when the snow is this heavy. The boys cleared about 6 inches last night and almost a foot now,we have a lot of blowing snow. Once the plows come through that is a whole nother mess, both ends of the driveway. Oh well,a good day to bake and stamp.
I was supposed to attend a party in Central WI Sunday evening. The hostess wisely decided to change her party to Monday instead after seeing the the reports of the upcoming storm. She may have lost a couple of attendees but given what I see out my window today ( 10inches and more coming) I think she made a wise choice. And as one of those not able to make the new date, while I will surely miss the fun, it won't stop me from placing my order!!!!

My party was cancelled too. I live in Wisconsin Dells, WI and we now have about 20 inches of snow that fell Friday night and last night! It's still snowing!
Did you do your workshop? My workshop in Kenosha that was supposed to be Sunday was cancelled but the hostess actually pulled together outside orders totalling over $300 anyway just by calling all the guests! LOL! AND she rescheduled for March! So even tho it got cancelled I actually got TWO workshops out of it! woo hoo!!!!
well i got final total from party that was almost canceled it was 798.00 so on top of all the free stuff from SAB and 100.00 worth of stuff i had to get more stuff from sab so i ordered 3 packs of the paper too...so i am going to need a bigger craft room lol
