Default My preschooler's Valentine treats!

I had my heart set on little candy-dipped marshmallow pops for my preschooler's party tomorrow, but discovered at the last minute that my marshmallows were all stuck together and globby. :( So, I did candy-coated popcorn instead, and whipped up these little treat bags with some paper, stamps & ziploc sandwich baggies!

Wild About You, Valentine!

My daughter picked out the alligator stamp, she was my creative director standing next to me the whole time. She's so excited to give these to her friends tomorrow!

Love these! I am surprised you are allowed to send home-made food. Most schools have adopted the "store bought and individually wrapped" rules about food.

Our preschool does seem to be in the minority... maybe it's the small class sizes, but the only no-go for us is nuts. We even have a rotating snack schedule where one student brings snacks for the whole class each day - the rule is, it has to be healthy and consist of 2 food groups, so I'd say it's homemade or at least unpackaged (veg, fruit, cheese, etc) 98% of the time. Goody bags like these are allowed on holidays & birthdays, but must remain packaged until parents pick up the kids and approve/inspect, so no ripping into them in the classroom.
