My Muse is on Vacation

I seem to have lost my crafting/creative mojo!! :shock: Every once in a while this happens. My muse just up and decides to have a vacation (I overwork her too much, I guess ;) ).

Usually I either just wait it out or browse lots of places - the SCS gallery, blogs, crafty websites - to get ideas going. That's not working this time. I've spent hours the past week looking through the gallery and blogs and nothing is making those crafty wheels spin again.

I'd wait it out but I have a ton of crafty holiday projects and cards to make. And I want to enjoy making them, because this is what this is all about - enjoying the craft.


What is it that you ladies do to get your crafting muse to come back from her unscheduled vacations? HELP!

I don't know...but I think that she took my muse with her.

If you see her, could you send her home?

They are probably on some fabulous relaxing vacation together. Somewhere warm I would guess........Maybe I should go find them for you.........

What are they doing partying without us?!? They better be someplace fun - like Jamaica! ;) If I see them I'll be sure to send her on her way back to you.

When I get like that, I try to relax. I make sure there is nothing I really need to be doing(housework, or whatever), and then I case a beautiful card from someone elses gallery. I try to change a few things on it, to make myself think, but dont force it. When its ready to come, it will!! Good luck!!
