headless teacher just makes me think the teacher has lost her head from so much classroom chaos - I can't picture a face on her except my first grade teacher Mrs. Ward!

I don't like them at all, an I'm glad someone brought this up. I like what SCSers have done WITH them, but I don't like the headless look at all. At least they're not "nearly headless" like Nearly Headless Nick in Harry Potter-land! That would be worse!
Is my wedding card the ones you are talking about?
I didn't even realize for the longest time that they were "headless" I just looked at the tux and dress.
Your wedding card doesn't have arms or legs either though- so those seem to just be clothes (to me). These stamps have arms and legs and bodies but no heads.

Here are some to look at. These are some fantastic cards using these stamps. Even though I don't care for the stamps- man are these cards awesome. (None of them are mine!)
Hmm...if I had these stamps I would either put a photo of the person I'm making the card for or an animal head on the body. That is wierd - why are there no heads?

However, those are really cool!! The only one that was a little creepy to me was the teacher, but the card was hilarious!!!
I think as long as they are cut to look like they are supposed to be missing a head they are rather spunky and different. I may have to order a few. I am trying to get AWAY from flowers!!!!!!!
Oohh! Thanks for posting this thread. These are just so cutting edge that I have to have them. I love the unique and very recognizable style and have seen her Target line and loved them. Had no idea that there were stamps from this artist. I see that they are very reasonable prices too! There goes my August budget with 8 sets of these babies!!
I like the sets but they do look a bit strange when the neck is just left floating in the center of cardstock. In cards where it just looks like the head is out of view (meaning placing the headless image close to the edge of CS) they look fantastic.
I think placement of image will make all the difference! The focus is on the pointer, or the recliner etc not the face. I think it is meant to be faceless so that the card owner can BE the image. Hope this made sense it is still early lol.
I am sorely tempted to buy the teacher set - imagine all the things we could do with that blackboard and pointer. Very cute!
Has anyone ever bought these from a place called All That Scraps? Are they a good place to get them?

this is a good thread...i love it when everyone talks about why they like or do not like certain stamp...I've always found these headless stamps a bit odd....not my thing (although I do own a set of the walking dogs); I can certainly see the artistic license in these stamps; modern art! whatever you want to call it.
How did Cammie get that head on? Did she draw it and then cut it out and paste it on the body? It looks awesome.
I just stamped the image and drew the head on..i have done it for two cards--that one and one with the girl on the beach....check out my gallery if you want to see it.
SO--this allows you to have options....and the head is so easy to just add in OR not add
I like what people are creating with the headless series, but if I owned a set and made some cards I would be limited as to who I could give the cards to. Most of my friends would think I was creepy if I gave them a headless card, and my workplace (a school setting) would definitely have a problem with it! They would all be wondering what my point was! LOL

I'm liking that new Christmas set....I think I'll have to visit MFT tomorrow to take advantage of the free shipping!

You can get them from there, and I've heard only good things. However, like Suzy said, you can get them from Kim (the MFT site) from the 1st through the 3rd for no shipping charges!

*I guess it depends on the layout then. If the person can distract me from the fact that there is no head- it's all good. If the first thing I notice is that the person has no head, that's not so good.
