I JUST today saw these cute little designs by MissyB. When I went back to check them out some more, I saw the new stamp set! I will definitely be getting it now! I can't wait!! Thanks for sharing and many blessings to you, Alexa and your family!

I just stumbled upon your post and looked up the website. It was so cute, but I have twin boys, so I ordered it for me instead! I just wanted to support you and your family. I don't know anything else about you, but you and yours are in my prayers.
Lauren ~ It is just perfect..This set is great for me. I have one daughter that is 6..thinks she's 'all that and a bag of chips', then I have my DD 4YO. She's usually dressed like a princess. The folks at the Y call her SnowWhite because she has arrived there "in uniform" on more than one occassion.
The reason it is perfect is because it is a tribute to what a special little girl Alexa is! Congratulations..I hope they sell tons o rubbah for your organization.
Lauren: This touched my heartstrings! How precious. I'll have to grab that set for my niece. Thanks for sharing this awesome moment with us.

How special to have a stamp set just for her! I ordered the set and the sassy girls ones too. But oops....didn't realize I needed the cling mount until I went to post on here tht I bought them. :(

You can get acrylic blocks from CTMH demos, TAC demos, Michaels, prolly your LSS, e-bay - just about anywhere!
Melissa is a wonderful, giving woman (and a super talented artist!). I was so happy that she had decided to do this when she first told me about it! I am so proud of how well she is doing in her venture with MissyB rubberstamps but this made me just feel like bursting! And now that the set is done - WOW! it is awesome! I can't wait to see all the fantastic cards that will be made with Alexa in mind ;-) I can't wait to have this set in my hands! (I just got some more this last week that I am cutting up tonight and am so excited to play with!).
Now I am off to upload one of my latest MissyB cards!
And Lauren - you will have to tell us what Alexa thinks of being a 'famous stamp set' ;-)

OK, this is a problem, lol. Got the set ordered, and the sassy girls. AND the cling. AND the.....ducks? <sigh> not enough $ this time, sadly. Next time, though, those ducks are MINE! Tell Alexa how much I admired her signature...she did a fantastic job!
oh, lauren, this is amazing and i know all too well what you're going through (for the most part) b/c as we've discussed, my 9 y.o. ds is in remission himself from leukemia (don't know if you remembered me pming you). how cool is this set!! i would love to help in any way i can to raise money since we also feel we owe people so much for doing so much for us. i do pray her treatments are going well!!!!

An earlier post said to buy the cling mount which is sticky on one side and shiny on the other. Then you would buy acrylic blocks to use instead of the traditional wood handles.
Many people use all their rubber stamps with this method. I've been doing this for years. BUT.....
If you do not want to try the new system, you can buy wood blocks and gray cushion that is sticky on both sides - on eBay in the rubber stamping category. You just stick the sheet of rubber to one side of the grey cushion. Then cut out the stamps and mount them on the wood like you would with SU sets.
Either method works great. Just wanted to let everyone know the options.

I just wanted to let you know this is the first post I've ever read that made me cry. Truly, I was. You seem to have such great strength and I know I would FALL apart. I will always have the both of you in my heart and prayers. And when I'm down and will think of you and Alexa to bring me up, she's a beautiful Princess and you are "A NUMBER ONE MOM", hands down. I would like to send Miss Alexa a card from my DD and me, if you could be so kind to send me your addy I would be forever grateful. TIA...

Everyone thanks so much for the replies. You are all awesome! I am just beyond excited about this. Alexa can't believe it! She is excited to see her name printed especially. I think once she actually gets it she will go crazy!
I think having a place somewhere is a great idea-however I don't know how that would work with th gallery. I don't want to upset the way things run. Maybe if people upload it with the keyword ALEXA-just like how she writes her name all capitals (LOL!) then it would be easy to see all the samples? I know I don't want to miss any samples made. Alexa is going to be so excited to see these!
Jailbirdstamper-when you go to missybdesigns its under products-then stamps-its the set with the princess, butterflies and whatnot. It says New! and there is a small blurb about Alexa.
The set CAN be mounted on wood. Her designs are deep etched and can be used anyway you want-unmounted or mounted. I have some I used for wood mount and others unmounted-the choice is yours.

Lauren, this is so amazing. I can only imagine how honored you and Alexa and your family are feeling. Your family has been through so much, it has to feel amazing to see some sunshine and feel all the love you are receiving!
That stamp set is so adorable and I love that there's meaning behind the set. Too cute! I think my daughters would love playing with this set... will put it on my wish list.

Yes the cling mount sold on missyb is for using w/ acrylic mounts. HTH!!
