Question Mounting my Bellas - how to/what to use? *merged*

I need some help here because I want to do this right. It got two new Bellas yesterday. I knew they'd come unmounted but for some reason I ust thought maybe I could just attach them to a clear acrylic block. But it looks like I need something in between. So what do I use/do? I want to play!!

I think all you need is some double sided tape. I bought the Tack n Peel that is offered on the Stamping Bella website. I cut a piece the size of the acrylic block and attached it. Now when I want to stamp, I just stick a Bella to it and stamp. When I'm done, I remove the Bella and put a clear protective sheet over the sticky acrylic block, until the next time I want to stamp. Is that clear as mud?

EZ Mount, Tack n Peel, or Double Sided tape. There's another liquid glue product (Aileen's something?) that you can also use.

You can use Alene's Tack It Over and Over. It's a liquid glue. You spread a very very thin layer on the back of your rubber stamp, and let dry for 24 hours. Then, it becomes a re-positionable adhesive.

Slap the bella on the block when you want to stamp, and slap her back on her storage unit (CD case, plastic baggie, whatever) when you aren't using her.

I mount ALL my unmounted stamps on Creative Cling foam from TAC. It's really great! I think ALL stamps can benefit from a little cushion before I start pushin'! If I didn't have SO many clear sets from CTMH I would mount those suckers too! I DO like seeing through the stamp sometimes, but I end up not using them that much because I don't like the impression. I think I have to start stamping with those on a pad (I don't like that little one that comes in each pack either....so maybe some fun foam sheets glued together!) Anywhoo....before DH wakes up, I'm off to place another Bella order! I was TRYING to wait until Emmy had a bunch more up there, but I just CAN'T wait! Must.....have.....BELLAS!

So far I have just used the double sided scotch tape and it has worked fine. I read the blog from AmyR on mounting these stamps and it was great!

I just stuck mine on to an acryllic block with snail. Then to clean off the acryllic I used my adhesive remover.

Try stamping on a mouse pad with your clear stamps...mouse pad, cart stock, stamp. I hated my clear stamps until I started doing it this way. I am getting much nicer images, and I swear a lot less

I call that the 'Ready-to-Wear Bellas' mounting method.

On Jovi's blog, she shares a cool tutorial on mounting Bellas with 'EZ Mount' aka "Creative Cling":
Unmounted Stamps

She also posted links to a couple of YouTube videos made by Pink Cat Studio:

Default Bella question

All of you that posted and uploaded fantastic cards with the Bella stamps are responsible for my new addiction. ;) However, I didn't realize when I ordered these stamps, that they come unmounted. I guess I must have missed this on the website. What am I supposed to use to mount these? As always, I appreciate your help.

Hello, I bought a bunch of these stamps and didn't mount them. I just use an acrlic block, put a strip of sticky tape on the block, stick the stamp to it and away you go! You don't need to mount these as the images are very crisp and clean. The sticky tape comes off of the acryclic stamp very easily. Hope this helps. I think they website tells ou what to do with these as well. You may want to check it out..

I use a strip of double sided carpet tape on an acrylic block. It's cloth based and really sturdy. When I'm done I just peel the tape off the block, leave the bella attached to the tape, and slap the tape's backing strip back in place so it's good to go for next time. Love my bellas!

Question Mounting my Bellas

My Bellas are coming this week...I didn't order the Tack N Peel....if I can't find it locally...do ya'll recommend using something with a cushion for mounting or just the cling type? I've seen where people have used both...whats the best? My only experience has been with the TAC stamps and their cling .

You can use the Tack 'N Peel, or double sided tape (works great) on a nacrylic block or mount them on EZmount cling foam - it's all up to personal preference!!

TAC cling mount and EZ mount are essentially the same thing.
You can attach the rubber with DST to your block- you can put a mousepad or magazine under your stamping surface for a cushion.

I highly recommend emailing Emily, the owner, right at her site. She can tell you which size block(s) would be the best to work with for the Bellas you are buying, and guide you through it all.

I use glue stick to attach my bellas to my acylic block, easy peasy and you can just pull them off when you have finished give your block a little wash in some soapy water and you are good to go for the next bella!!!

The acrylic block I use is about 10cm by 7cm and this does all the bellas I have, even the bridalpartybella

If you look on the Bella site each bella has a letter in the code that corresponds to which size acrylic block you need for it. I was curious as to what sizes I would need and after rereading all of Emily's postings I found out that little bit of information.

Default Question about Bella Stamps?

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone could help me with the Bella Stamps (the cute ladies stamps). I actually have never used any stamps that needed the acrylic blocks before and I'm a bit unsure how they work. Are the Bella stamps clear or rubber? Do they need to be mounted like SU stamps and if so, do they come with the sticky adhesive already on the stamp/rubber? I wasn't sure if they are like the clear stamps, that you just place on the acrylic blocks and peel off and then are able to put another stamp on the block. Also, I was wondering, if I need to buy acrylic blocks for every Bella stamp I buy! I hope I making sense! I'm just trying to venture outside of SU!!!! Any information would be greatly appreciated!
