I've noticed that most of the challenges and posts I am reading are about SU stuff. As a CTMH consultant is it really OK for me to be here and getting involved? I don't want to step on any toes but before I get too involved with the site I thought I should ask. I became a member a long time ago when I was a SU rep but hadn't been around much b/c I just didn't have the time. Getting a lap top really changed things for me...now I can spend the evening with hubby, watching TV together and be online too.
I've never posted any artwork b/c I though only SU was supposed to post artwork. Is it just that a huge content is SU but everyone is welcome? I hope so b/c I've been browsing the forums for the last mth or so and am really enjoying being here.
Hope I don't sound like a complete dork here, asking this.
I have very little Stampin up stuff, I mainlypurchase through a local stamp store. So that is basically what I have in my gallery. Most seem very nice here. Enjoy the site!!
The incredibly wonderful founder of this site set it up as a support for her SU downline, as I understand it. The site has tons of SU, but if you look through the gallery you'll also see plenty of CTMH, TAC, Amuse, Bellas and Mike's $1 stamps! Post away!

Yes, you are totally welcome. Like Lisa said, it originally started with the SU focus, and it continues to be so in terms of how the gallery is organized, and you will find the challenges will be listed as SU colors and such.
I know with CTMH and TAC there are a lot of cross over colors and products. Create with what you have. The diversity of all the different stamp companies make this a great place. I have often seen a CTMH or TAC set that I "needed" thanks to this site!

Let me add to the chorus of welcome. The site is certainly more user friendly for searching for cards done with SU sets, but it is fairly easy to put the name of something into the gallery search engine and find inspiration. In fact, I think as SCS has grown, the use of other products on this site has grown. I have 2 words to support this: scallop punch!!

When I first signed up a year ago, I asked the same exact question because I was a former CTMH demo and had almost exclusively CTMH stamps. I can assure you that I am very involved here at SCS and have never had any problems or issues arise....SCS is filled with wonderful people who just want to see everyone's creations regardless of how or what they have been made with.
Please just post some of your creations with CTMH stamps! I love SU stamps and have a LOT of them, but I have ordered some TAC stamps, and some Inky Antics stamps, etc. just from seeing the card samples on here. In fact, I'm thinking I need to order that set "Do Nothing" from CTMH, and that's because I saw some cards made here on this site. This site enables me quite often! LOL!

I'm a CTMH consultant too and I've been very welcomed here! Although I've never done a swap here my gallery is all CTMH because that's what I'm involved with but I've been stamping for 10 years and always want to see ideas, products and techniques about everything to do with stamping and I think most people here feel the same way
SCS welcomes all stampers, scrapbookers and papercrafters and all brands--I guess you could say we're a "non-denominational" rubbah stampin' website! ;)
We encourage you to enrich the SCS galleries with your creations, whatever products you use!

Welcome! I look forward to seeing your stuff!!
This site is one of the friendliest I've seen, no matter your stamp preference! I am a luvva of ALL rubbah and nobody seems to mind! (although, I have no CTMH, maybe you could hook me up!)
Thanks everyone. Now that I know its OK, I'll start posting in the gallery. I use all stamps, CTMH & Autumn Leaves are my faves, but I collect whatever catches my eye. Off I go to upload a few things to get me started.
I wondered the same thing when I first made a card without using any SU! stamps -I used only Mike's $ stamps. I wondered where to post them? I discovered you don't need to select a stamp set when uploading your card. Just let it default to the *member galleries* and it will automatically post to your gallery under your username.
The card won't show up in any SU! gallery, but it will be able to be seen many other ways including when a person does a search, like what Joan B mentioned above. I did a search once for Hodgepodge Hardware when I needed ideas on how to place a piece on a card. You can list as many search words as you want. Post away!
Thanks Becky for the praise...just uploaded a few more but they say "pending approval" so it might take a few minutes. Unfortunately, I realized that I erased all of my old pics of my cards (it figures) except for a couple so now I need to make some new cards but that's not a problem....Mother's Day is coming up and I have some friends' birthdays this month so will getting some new cards whipped up soon.

It's the best $30 I've spent lately!
What a RAE of Sunshine! I love your cards! Come on over...I'm a un-newbie (the NEW part is wearing off....sniff) and I just love this site. I have stuff that I recently bought from all over. Join us. You won't regret it!
I am a SU demonstrator but prior to that I was just a "crafter". I paint, sew, floral arrange, cross stitch, you name it. My philosphy is this: "The center of HEART is "art", so share as much of both as you can and the world will be a much better place"
