I don't have official information but I've had my jar of modge podge for YEARS .. like at least five, and it's still fine. Kinda hard to get the lid off sometimes, but past that, no problems :-)
I throw it out when it gets gloopy because I don't want globs on my projects. As long as it's running smoothly out of the jar onto my brush I still use it.

I use mine even after it gets globby years later by thinning it with a a tiny bit of water. Keeping the lid fixed properly seems to be key to making it last. But keeping the lid on straight gets more and more difficult over time.
I have a large bottle that I pour a smaller amount into a smaller container. I make sure to keep the lid on the larger container nice and tight. It keeps better and then the lid doesn't stick so much making it difficult to open.
