I get the Michael's circulars in the mail every so often; there's usually a coupon in there.
And I forgot to add, my kids are in the Michael's Kid Club thing and in the month of their birthdays, they get a 40% off one item coupon in the mail. Cool, huh?

Hmm, maybe I need to find a child on the street and sign them up as my kid so I can get this deal!
The last one was in the Thanksgiving Day paper, but I have gotten them on Sunday, too. They usually have a 50% coupon on holidays such as Labor Day and Memorial Day.
I live in a condo w/6 units and on Saturday they deliver a town newspaper that NO ONE reads or takes... the grounds keepers always throw them all away the following Friday when they do their sweep... so after a few days I grab them and get the coupons... then I go to AC Moore and use them since I want a bunch of stuff there and Michael's has just about nothing I want right now.
Also, if you acquire more than one coupon, do you use them on separate visits or can you use more than one at a time?

Generally they are.. but I think it depends on where you live. In Cali they were in two differnt news papers where I use to live then I came out here and they were no where to be found... I was soooo sad! About a month ago they started putting them in our local town newspaper every week. You can only use one at a time... I always go w/my hubby and have him walk through- but I also have a Michael's literally right next door to me and an AC Moore (where I normally use them) right next to our grocery store (and we grocery shop together a lot since he's an inspiring chef) so he's always around to do that for me.
Sometimes, the stores will 'give' you a coupon...er rather, they mark you down as not receiving one and have you sign a log.
It is not a set policy to do this. In some places, the flyers are not distributed to all of where a newspaper has subscribers....don't ask me why....

It's usually 40%, with an occassional 50%. As far as using more than one coupon at a time; it could be up to each store. Used to be the Ms I frequent allowed 1 per trip. Now they allow multiples, but everything has to be rung up independently.
Was there a Michael's ad with a coupon in your paper yesterday? There was no Michael's ad in my paper. I went to their website and I can look at their ad there, but there is no 40% off coupon online.
In So Cali there was a 40% coupon in the Sunday paper. I also get them in my junk mail every week that they have the coupon. It is very strange, though, because I went to ask my neighbors on both sides of me and they do not get the Michaels ad in their junk mail. For two weeks I went and asked for theirs but they didn't get it. I was quite bummed.
And, are these papers that are delivered or ones you buy at the newsstand? I only ask because in Regina, only newspaper subscribers got the papers with flyers and coupons in them; the ones at the newsstand just had what the newspaper published and no extras like flyers.

I've done that before! I once wanted 4 or 5 expensive things there so I bought 4 or 5 papers at a gas station and did the same thing... I had a whole bunch of people giving me weird looks! It was pretty funny.
