Default Making Pearl Ex play well with others

Does anyone know the trick to keeping pearl ex on the versa mark and not the rest of the card? I have created what I think is a very unique card using three colors of pearl ex, only it tends to get all over the card. Any tips, hints or otherwise?

If you use a swifer to wipe the extra the seal with a thin coat of hair spray (the areosol type). That should work for you.

Don'tcha just love Pearl Ex? I recently did a card using two colors of Pearl Ex and knew there'd be trouble when I mounted my little squares all done up in PE. So, I sealed them with a matte spray sealer. Then, when they were dry, I sealed them again. They played much nicer after I was done. If you don't have a spray sealer, you can use a firm hold hairspray like the cheap and smelly Aquanet. HTH.

Do you mean you did on color on the card sprayed it then did the next? on mine it is a black card, did a big butterfly in the middle in blue pearl ex, then in duo green yellow did flowers on the edge and then in duo blue red did another smaller butterly. The stamped parts came out beautiful however there was residue on the card left by the pear ex extrra. Hope this makes sense.

you can also use an embossing buddy (from su) first, helps to reduce static on the cs, also I think the swifer is a little gentler on the pearl ex then the dryer sheet.
