Default Making Bow "tool"

I can't make a bow to save my life. IF I do use bows on my cards I will wrap some ribbon around the card and then take a little piece of ribbon and just tie it around that ribbon so it make a little knot. But I enjoy seeing all the different kinds of bows that I see on cards.

What is your favorite tool out there that you like to use?

I bought mine years ago but the price is too high. There are other models the same that are cheaper. I've only used it a couple of times and even though it's easy to do I find I can tie bows without it so it sits in a drawer.

I tried doing the "fork" method but it didn't make anything easier for me. I'm sure you'll get some great feedback from those that use these tools. : )

The Bow Easy is the one I have. https://www.amazon.com/Bow-Easy-Simp.../dp/B00LIAL5FU

I did not pay this much for it though. There are lots of videos showing how to use it.

I bought a Bow Easy for A LOT less and, although mechanically inclined, I could never get the hang of using it. Now I just cut 2 pieces of ribbon and tape to the back of the card front, then tape the sides on the front, and do the bow in the way I want it to sit (horizontally with the taped-down pieces, or perpendicular to those).
Just do some practicing and write down what gets you the results you want: knot, right over left, or opposite, then loops, which direction you start then wrap them. You will have options, once you know which action creates what you want.
Like my mother would say, "Clear as mud?"

I have a Bow Easy too and it'd my favourite bow-making tool. I have another tool I was given but I can't master it. The Bow Easy is great as you can do tiny bow that my large fingers just can't do on their own!
