Default lunchbox tins at Joann compared to oriental trading

I just got done doing a tin from orietnal trading Love it. I used emilyof3boys directions I could not do the lid because they are different . Joann tins are much smaller and I was wondering do I use the same directions in the resources to cut 12 inch stips or would they be different. I like Joann handles but oreintal traddings are bigger. Some one else said to use decoupage instead of mod podge also Is this true ???

My one for oriental trading was bigger than the one I have from Michaels. My 12x12 paper didn't quite fit around the whole way. I had to use an extra piece on each side to cover the gap. What I did like about is: I was able to use the dividers I ordered from there as well. They won't quite fit in the one I got from Michael's. I'll have to trim them down a bit. The dividers are cheap: 30 for $3. I like that they are a cardboard type material. I used used my circle punches to make a little tag that sticks up from the top with the titles (b-day, thank you etc).
I have one from joanns arriving this week, so I'll make a comparision then.

The only lunch box tin I've seen from OT is the old fashioned shaped...is this the one you have used Jeanette? If so, which dividers did you use that fit in it? Thanks!

OT has some that have the lids on the top, just like the ones emily used in the in her example. The handle is different, but it is top loading. The dividers are like really dividers, except some of them don't have the tabs. The pkg. comes with 30 (I think) and 6 of them have tabs on the them. The others are just carboard type material. I used made my own tabs.
I saw them in the oriental trading cataloge, the scrapbooking/craft one. I don't have a cataloge with me right now, but I could look it up for you if you want and give you the item numbers. The tins is 5.95 and the dividers are 4.95 a pkg. Super fast shipping too.

Default Tins

JoAnn's on-line did not have them on sale as in the flyer and last I checked it said that they were sold out!- and I was told at the JoAnns in MA that only the Super stores have them - I was very upset that they did not point that out in the flyer - the closet super store to me is a few hrs away - although we are getting 2 super centers in September one at the Ma location I was at on Sat and one in RI - so hopefully they will be stocking them at that time - I am hoping to get some Christmas gifts done early!!!!

Where in MA are we getting a JoAnn superstore?

Are the lunch boxes on sale from JoAnn from Provo Craft? I taught a class in March with them and I want to teach another one in Sept with the Provo Craft tins.
