Ever watch a teen or pre-teen boy tear into a handmade card? It's a sad sight, enough to make you consider giving up stamping. There are two things that might interest them:
1-Incorporate a photo of the kid in the card front...guaranteed to catch their interest
2-Money. Make a card with an interesting money sleeve, or fold the money in an origami design, such as a shirt.
Teenage boys are the hardest cards to make. I have more nephews than neices unfortunately. Here is a link to one of my favourite cards for boys/men and teen girls as well. teen boy birthday card by misha at Splitcoaststampers
The stamp is by Judikins and make sure you get the denim inkpad by Adirondack. I have made it with a belt, I have made it girly with a bling intial on the pocket.

If you have a denim backgrounder (Cornish Heritage Farms) you can draw and shade in the rest or just do a really big pocket ;) http://krikeykreations.blogspot.com/...1_archive.html - yes it was for a girl but it is pretty unisex.
Everything (all 3) in my gallery was for a teenage boy.

I have made several using the same set. It's by SU called TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME. It's a great set, and works every time!! It's retired now, but Ebay, or on here in the buy/sell/trade may have one. I haven't looked in an SU catty recently to see what sport sets they sell, but The Angel Company sells a cute set too!! I use their interests - my son is turning 16 and it's all about getting a truck - so his card will have a truck on it...last year it was football...of course, those jeans ones with gift cards in the pocket I'm sure are hits!! I LOVE this guitar one!
I have six sons and two grandsons, so I make my share of masculine cards. I even have a masculine catagory on my blog. Tomorrow's (6/27) post would be a great teen boy card.
