Okay, I'm killing time til midnight to see what the KSDT has in store for us this week. More beautiful samples of those new sets would be awesome, as maybe mine will arrive early this week. Looking forward to them!

I think I have a new spring favorite! I love blanketing my paper with daisies in bright spring colors. Here is a card I am going to load in my gallery this morning!
Of course, the tulips and pansies will be seeing lots of use this spring on my cards. I love making beach cards with the shells in the summer!

Let's start saving our pennies so the Austin girls can experience CHA at least once in their lifetime!!

BTW for those of you who do not know, Austin was our maiden names not refering to the city!!! Yep, Texans through and through!! I'll start that collection right away. Maybe we need to do one craft show a year to sell all this stuff we make so we can have a travel fund. Heck, if I would quit buying everything that pops up here, I could have a pretty good savings going! I'll work on that!!

Oh, yeah, I did see Joan's picture amongst the fun and festivities. I'm glad to be working the Belli Challenge team with she and Holly and a few other Texas gals too!
Maria sent me a quick email today in response to a comment I left her. Hope you get to meet her. Talk about a woman with a heart of gold!!! Very special indeed and way talented!!!

I haven't read all the posts, I admit, so maybe somewhere in there it gives directions. I have the daisy and have tried prob. 20 times and line the stamps up differently each time.
Anyone have a link to a detailed tutorial? I don't think the diagram on the back of the packaged stamps is adequate..at least not for me..Thanks for any help you can give me!

I don't have a tutorial, but let me take a couple of photos and post them here to show you what I do to line up this set.

Sometimes it's easier to line up the images by stamping out of order
You can also stamp one of the steps - place the color guide over you image to see how the next step will line up. If you need visuals, I'll be happy to post some.
I am using the medium daisy to demonstrate what I do. It only has 2 layers but you can do the same thing with the larger, 3-layer daisy.
First, stamp layer two in the darker color.
You will notice in my photo, that I have actually drawn a black X on the back of my stamps so that I can line them up each time without having to search for my focal point.
I chose the double solid petals as my focus. I then place Layer one over it lining up the X over the double petals on the stamped layer two image and then adjust so that the gaps are clearly between the petals and then stamp.
