I am about to put in an order and am thinking of getting one of the 12x12 leather albums. I cringe a little bit at the price but figure that it is probably worth it to get such a nice album. Can anyone tell me if they have one, and if so how you like it. Is it really better than one that I can get elsewhere without spending so much. Thanks so much for your input! Denise
I have one (as well as a couple of the linen ones and the designer ones). I think the leather album is definitely nicer than any of the other albums SU offers, and very comparable to other (IMO similar quality) albums on the market. I hope this helps! :-)
I only have a 6x6, but it is definitely a premium album. The leather on the cover is thick and rich, not flimsey. The color is solid and it shines a bit. Like a good saddle (i love horses....) and the spine has a good extra amount of slack to allow for expansion. They also smell divine.
I have the 12x12 green album and really like it. It has about 25 pages in it now. I'm also planning to buy the pecan and the black albums. I like to have each trip in a separate album. I also have the blue linen and a 6x6 blue spots album, but the leather is my hands-down favorite.
