Sarah Incardona has not received any cards since June. She asks about the mail every day. If someone could send her a card it would be greatly appreciated!
I posted this back in May when the group was just getting started. I thought I'd post again since I've seen several posts about kids not receiving cards.
My ds used to belong to another children's card group. On top of randomly sending out cards, that group also had a monthly card swap.
Whoever wanted to make a card that month pm'd/emailed the swap coordinator. She then paired up the children and posted the pairs. Each child sent one card to their partner and received one card from the partner.
Each month was a new swap, so you signed up if you wanted in on it. There were themes for some months (like winter cards in December). The children had different partners each month they signed up.
It was an easy way to guarantee that your child would get at least one card a month.
This did not take the place of birthday RAKS or randomly sent out cards.
Samantha wanted to say a BIG "THANK YOU" to Bailey for the great card. She was so excited to get mail. Today she made a card for Bailey and two others!!
If everybody paid it forward + 2 all the kids would have mail more than once a month!!!

Bailey loves making cards- I'm glad Samantha liked hers! We sent one out to Cameron Also on the same day Samantha's went out. We are making more today, and are starting to go down the new list!

Another thank you for Samantha (Brown)! Mitchell loved getting his card with crayons all over it-just the stamp to get us in the mood for back to school supplies!
This month we have three birthday girls on the list... Please check out Mckenna, Maddie and Emma's information. I would love to see them get multiple cards for the occation. Imagine how happy that would make them. Also a heads up for next month we have three birthday boys Nathan, Jonathan, and Connor.
We have had not new entrys so far this month and if we have none all month then I will not post an updated list on September 1st. I will try to keep you aware of birthdays though.
Happy Stamping and remember parents can send cards too not just the kids.

I just received a very sad PM from Kara's mom. Since Kara joined she has mailed her cards and is now very sad because she has never recieved a card. Never is what saddens me. I know my daughter and others have gone a month or more without a card but never. I am wondering if the people on the list are only sending to the same person all the time or if they are just not sending cards at all. I hope we can find a way to help these kids that love mail to get atleast one card a month. Maybe each kid send one card a month and each mother of the kid sends one card a month. If you or your child hasn't mailed a card in awhile please do and if you child is one of the kids with no mail please let us know. - Doris

So sad about Kara! We will get one out to her! I have admit that I'm a total DORK! and did not realize there were 2 pages on the list and have only used the first page! LOL When I read the post about Kara, I thought hey, there is no Kara on my list! LOL Sorry! Happy stampin' everybody!!!!

I just licked 35 envelopes and I don't think my tongue will ever be the same. Hope the kids like there cards. Watch your mail boxes.
Stacey I think we have an incomplete address for you on the list. Please resend you address so I can double check it.
Also, on the second page I have Kieran and Caitlyn Hoffman listed twice. I will fix that with the next update.

Is this Canada?
If so the border does not allow mail from the US without all capital letters and it must say CANADA in the address as well as USA in the return address. Once in awhile they will let it slide but our Seattle post office has recieved truck loads of returned mail for this reason.

Are you talking about Cameron's (Heather's) Address? Because I just pulled my list out too to see why he wouldnt get his card yet? I'm curious- too if this is Canada? Maybe that's the reason? Please let me know ASAP the correct way to address the envelope-so I can make sure he gets his cards this time :confused:

Yes it is Canada...Even I wasn't aware of that Canada and US had to be on the envelopes. Hmmm Good thing I had it on the 7 cards I mailed today!
You'd think if that was the case it would have bounced back to you. I thought it could have also been not enough postage...not sure about the US, but it costs more to send letters to the US than it does if you were sending them to Canada.
Hopefully it'll work this time.

And you should also include US in your return address if I understand correctly.

Addressing elements required by the United States Postal Service should be prepared according to the United States postal standards.

(a) All U.S.A. mail items must be addressed to a specific individual, organization or company name. (b) The full municipalityname should be used and should appear as the first component in the second last line of the address block.(c) The two-letter state symbol is preferred over the full state name. The state symbol should appear on the second last line of the address following the municipality, separated by one space. Please see United States of America � States, Territories and Possessions below for a complete listing.(d) TheZIP code must be separated from the state symbol by two spaces. It may be either five or nine digits. Thanks for the clarification of your address. I have a close friend in Canada and was notified about a year ago of the needing country names and all capital letters but I couldn't quite tell with how your address was worded.

Glitterdovefairy~Thank you for the card for Rachel! She loved it. She said she wanted to "read" it herself. She's 3 1/2. She recognized the D-O-R and then she just started yelling "Mom--this card is from DORA!" Meaning Dora the Explorer! LOL I tried to tell her it was from a friend from the computer and all I got was a "Dora has a computer?" I was laughing so hard and she was so proud for **reading** it herself....LOL Thank you so much, Dora! I mean, Doris! LOL
