Just Saw the Europe SU Sale A Bration Catalog... Wonder if the US will be the same
I was blog hopping and came across the blog of someone in Germany who had posted the Sale-A-Bration catalog for England/France/Germany. Their SAB starts January 1st.
Here is a link to it . Obviously, it's in different languages. But I wonder if otherwise it will be the same sets in the US SAB catty when it goes public later this month?

The stamp sets are the same, we get the extra choices of ribbon and DS paper.

Good to know. I do like the polka dot punches set because it coordinates with the punches. The others are ok but don't wow me.

Not really wowed either! I did like the wording on the Congratulations set but I have some similar stamps already. Guess I'll wait to see what the ribbon & DP are like. Otherwise might be saving money this Sell-a-Bration.

Does anyone have a link to the preview for the US SAB catty so we can see the paper and ribbons?

Unfortunately, it is against SU! rules to post the link until Sale-a-Bration.

February 1st is the start date and goes thru March 31st. In the meantime, check out the Valentine bundle SU! is offering at 1 20% discount. It is way cute!!!

I like the Polka Dot and Yummy - nothing "to die for" great, but I'd sure like them ;)

I like "Yummy" and "Congratulations", and the heart shape in the polka-dots set would make a great needle piercing template!

Sadly, I didn't either. I hope there are other items in the Canadian issue.

My problem is that when I pass over a set, and then see what everyone makes with it, I have to have it after all!

I dont mind the Congrats set, but if I dont get it, I wont be sad. The others do nothing for me. Oh well, at least I wont have to save save save for the free sets. Oh, and if you ever decide later that you want one of the SAB sets, there are always tons in the BST ... usually for cheap ...

Yeah! I don't like any of these! That is good news for me as I have limited willpower when it comes to "free sets" and I really must use some of my supplies before I buy anything else!

In my opinion this is a disappointment. I googled Stampin Up 2009 Sale a Bration and found the US link including paper and ribbon:
www.stampinup.com/us/documents/SAB09_US.pdf
I'm not a demo so...
Why should I spend $50 to get free ribbon (max a $10 value) or a pack of DSP? I don't get it. I LOVED the sets last year but feel very ho-hum about this. I hope I still like the new catty stuff.
Sad in Texas. :(

Thanks for the link. I had seen the sets in the UK catty but hadn't seen the ribbon or dp. I only have to go to one SAB workshop (I hope) and it looks like I will be getting the Congratulations set. It actually has sayings that are different than other things I have and it doesn't have flowers. Cool!

Will that Top Note Big Shot die go through the Cuttlebug? I'm not real familiar with the Big Shot...but I love that shape!

Lisa, the die will work perfectly with your Cuttlebug. Just sandwich it between your two B plates and you're ready to go!
