Papertrey Ink! I am so excited. I have mostly only SU stuff so this is so new to me. I have been unmounting my SU stamps (what a job!) and I think I have decided, except for the rare occasion when I see a stamp set that I absolutely must have, I am going clear!!!
I ordered Women of life, In Bloom, Skooky Sweets II, and the 2008 paper pack. After getting the paper I will decided if I am going to get the ribbon and such. If anyone has cards they have made with these to get me ready when mine come in please link them here! TIA!

Gorgeous card! You have seven kids. We have six and are trying to decide if we are done or not. I'm not getting any younger and told my husband I can only do one more (pregnancy that is, twins would be accepted).
I haven't taken the plunge and unmounted my SU! yet (and I have alot) but my new ones I don't mount and I find the versitility just as good as the clear so don't rule out unmounted rubber stamps - you still get the ease of placement and 2 step stamping. I haven't purchased any Gina K or Bellas but I have a list of several of each that DH doesn't know it yet - but he's getting me for Chanukah. I do find that you need to get a "good quality" clear stamp to get consistent good impressions - and yup PTI fits that bill!! I love their stamps.

I have a whole shelf full off PTI stampsets and many other clear stamps...I was AMAZED to find Unique Boutique clear stamps in my Michaels today! I purchased some of those with 50% off coupons.

Ditto! I love PTI, especially this time of month when new stamp sets are being released. I have a growing collection of stamps, inks, paper, ribbons, and buttons. Their products are exceptional, service is "off-the-charts" and I just love that I can create so many different things because the stamp sets are so versatile! They've got me designing my own DPs...it's so much fun!
So if you "go clear" does that mean you will never buy a Gina K stamp, or a CC Designs, or Stamping Bella, or Sugar Nellie etc etc etc?
I ask this because I am an equal opportunity stamp purchaser Clear is my least favorite actually, but I will buy them.

Good question!!! I never have bought any of them either. That may have to be my next venture! I say that I went clear b/c that is what I just ordered and other than a few sets ALL the rest of mine are SU. I do have a few other single woodmounted. I do consider myself too an equal opportunist, if I have it I will use it, and if I think it is a good deal chances are I will buy it. I am just loving the fact that they will come unmounted, with packaging and be clear. I have to say that I have been a loyal SU customer and haven't bought a non SU stamp (except for the few excepts mentioned) in years! I am really new to ALL other companies!

I would buy unmounted rubber as well, even though I prefer clear. I just recently ordered some Magnolias. And every now and then I also order some Stampin' Up!.
Congratulations Laurie!!! You are going to LOVE PTI!!!! I have been hooked on them such almost the beginning!! I have made a lot of cards with their stamps, I just love the ease and how quick cards are to make with their stamps!!! No one has referenced Nicole Heady's site so I will leave the link here. Look on the left of her site and go to any of those who either design for her or who are on the design team. You'll find tons of inspiration. I just placed 2 orders and will be placing my order on the 15th. Will be teaching a class in October and will use lots of her clear stamps in my class (not signing the SU contract on 10/1).
My first order is scheduled to get here tomorrow! YEAH! I also love the new releases; however is it common for them to be out of stock opening day!!! They seem to be out of several of them already. I can get them all with the Quick Pick option but I really do not want to get them all. Right now at least! ;)
It does happen from time to time. Nichole did post on her forum that they are hoping to have the "out of stock" sets in by next week. Keep your fingers crossed ;)
I'm so upset with myself....,.I forgot to order the Stocking set and the new formulated ink pads......grrrrr...... I guess I just have to place another order;)

I ordered the Stocking Set, the Poinsetta set, and the Circle border set. I have been wanting a set like that for a while. I have picked up a few woodmounted ones at a local craft fair ( I used these on my most recent upload) but the clear ones I think I will like better. I really want the new Christmas sentiment and the Vintage Labels, but I will have to wait until they have them in stock.
I have my cart full waiting for the labels set to be in stock....that looks like a must have...I have every paper, button, ink pad, refill, paper pad and ribbon they have offered and I love them all.

It won't take long for PTI to re-stock Vintage Labels and Signature Christmas. You'll be placing another order soon...

So excited for you Laurie!! I just recently got a small order from them (my friend and I shared an order for the free shipping). I got their True Black paper, and three of their new pigmented inks (Aqua Mist, Spring Moss and Sweet Blush). I will have to get their Orange Zest paper soon, for Halloween!!! I'm so excited!!! Just earlier I was grumbling that Papertrey didn't have a satisfactory orange - well, now they do!!!
It takes a week from me clicking on "order" to merchandise arrival!
All I can say is, you won't be sorry! They're about the only company I order from anymore. I love to shop around but my money usually goes there. Have fun!!!
I love PTI .. but just cannot justify the shipping to Canada ... 33.00 was 22.50 to ship !!! ...... yeah I am whining ... I love their product from what I can see on here and their paper sounds delicious !!!
I just wanted to let those of you that posted about out of stock new releases THEY ARE IN!!! Well, at least the two that I didn't get yet. The Labels one and the Signature Christmas sentiments. I am sure that is not the official names but I have to hurry downstairs my kids are waiting for me but wanted to give a quick shout out for those interested.
