My Husband and I have a winter home in FL. I do not have a craft room like I do in MI. Last year I brought down loose glitter in a rubber made container and glittered my Christmas cards. What a mess I made. Our place is new and so are the furnishings. Needless to say I vacumned and vacumed and then Vacumed some more Finally quit seeing glitter in the grout lines of the floor. This year I thought Glitter paper would be the answer. Uh NO!! Glitter falls off it too. This year I made Shaker cards. I used the chunky glitter and snowflake sequins from the Target dollar spot. My shakers were made with fun foam and cardstock and I didn't have one of them sealed very well. After it dried I shook it and the Chunky Glitter flew every where. Once again my Vacumn cleaner got a work out! DH has been patient with the glitter but he does complain that "it's everywhere"Last Sunday we went to a local Bar to watch The Detroit Lions play.
DH had Glitter on his cheek. Then a little while later I noticed one of the guy friends I hugged had glitter on his cheek too. I said something to DH and he said (annoyance in his voice) "IT'S EVERYWHERE"!!

My hubby is great when it comes to sparkle. I can show him a card I made, and he usually says - "That's nice, but can you add some more sparkle to it?"

I loved your story too! Here's mine:
During a very solemn moment in our church service I bowed my head to pray. Then started giggling as I saw the glitter on my husband's dress pants. Of course I stifled the urge to laugh out loud until I looked up and saw the gold glitter on his cheek.
Don't you love it when they still have something nice to say about the cards?

You could also use the sakura glitter pens, and the wink of stella pens. They give sparkle/shine/glitter without the mess.

I know how lucky I am to be married to such a dear, sweet man. We just celebrated our 51st anniversary, and I told him I would sign on for 50 more!
Need a LOVE button for that reply, Bugga!

If I take a class at either of our local LSS stores and glitter is involved they know me well enough to know that I staunchly refuse to use it and they provide an alternative or don't say a word as I skip that step. Long live Stickles, Wink of Stella and glitter pens!
