As for sizing images, the easiest way is to paste the picture into Word and work with the size and placement on the page there. Do you have Word? Or Publisher?
I am not familiar with any digital stamp that comes the "right size" for a card. I always have to resize mine. I do what Diane (Fionna51) does: Copy and Paste into Word and then resize. When you do your google search besides digital stamp, coloring pages also try clipart. Sometimes I find free clipart and then don't have to invest in an image I won't use. But the good thing about digitals is that they are usually pretty inexpensive. Good Luck.
Also, Pinterest will have a ton of ides and some of them may give you a clue where they got their image.
I am not techy at all, I used to print it off and take it to Staples and get it resized and printed on their cardstock. The last time, after using up five pieces of copy paper trying to print the image, hubby stepped in. He sized it and printed it on my cardstock, should have asked for help a long time ago, lol
