Default Idea for a die

I have a great idea for a metal die.
Is there a place where you can get metal dies made at a reasonable price???

AccuCut apparently makes custom dies. It is in the hundreds of dollars range.

Thanks for your reply. I don't think I want to invest hundreds 1 or 2 dies. I wish there was a way. :0(

Check with a local metal fabricator. I'd walk in with an example (a Nestability or Sizzix die or whatever you have in mind) so they can see what your expectation is. Maybe they have the capability to do something small-scale. I haven't checked into anything like that myself, but it might be worth a try...

Perhaps if you contacted your favorite die manufacturer (especially one of the smaller companies) they would buy the design from you and make the die so we all could have it, and probably also provide you with some of the dies.
