Default I wish they would invent . . . . .

..... set of small letters that either snap together or fit in a holder so you can stamp a word or phrase and know that it will be level?

.... a cleaner that makes any stamp look brand new again?

..... non-staining wood blocks. Why can't they coat them at the factory?

....a GOOD bleach pad?

..... a punch sharpener that works so well that every punch out is crisp and smooth?

.....a good quality white DYE pad?

....a pop-dot dispenser?

....a machine where we can design our own stamps and it makes them out of rubber!!! (just dreaming)

....a punch that punches and dry embosses a pattern in the paper at the same time?

..... self-adhesive ribbon?

.... a riding vacuum cleaner?

Oh and a word about Ultra Clean, it stays moist for a long time, I will spray three sprays onto my scrub and stamp and clean all afternoon and it still stays moist enough to get the stazon on off! Can you tell I love it?

Default Hmmm, but....

self-adhesive ribbon was available on QVC on National Scrapbook Day. I don't remember what brand it was but it was there. The only problem is you can't really tie it, just use a strip of it.

Also to sharpen punches you could try cutting on aluminum tin foil. This works for scissor blades to make them sharper so I think it would work for punches but I haven't tried it from experience.

So funny you should list this first. Just today I got some stamps by Karen Foster called Snap-Stamps. There are two different fonts to choose from, and 3 different sizes. The pieces snap together like legos. A perfectly even sentiment every time.

I plan to use them on a card in the next day or so, and when do I will make note of them on the card I upload, AND will make another post on this thread so you can check it out.

If all goes well with the stamps, I will be offering these as a purchase option to some of my customers who purchase other supplies (not just SU) from me. Yahoo!

Time for American Idol!

The Snap Stamps are AWESOME!!!!!!! I have 2 sizes! I bought the 1/8 inch ones first and they are tiny!

And I have the 1/4" ones too! I just did a card with them today, but it's not uploaded yet. The only thing I wish they had added was a blank piece, but I did figure out that you can turn one upside down and it won't get inked up

re: annabelle's wish for a good bleach pad: until someone manufactures one, this works pretty well for me. i used a coolwhip size plastic lid and cut out a circle of white felt to fit inside. i add a little at a time of bleach til evenly damp but not saturated. this makes a nice sized, even stamping pad surface. in between uses i keep it in a ziplock bag. you can add a little more bleach as needed when you use it again. it lasts for a long time.

....a GOOD bleach pad?

I just got the Jaquard Castaway pad and it works pretty good on most cardstock - you can't use cs with white core though

.........a machine where we can design our own stamps and it makes them out of rubber!!! (just dreaming)

There is a place in Beaverton Oregon that you can do this - At least they told me one could do that

..... self-adhesive ribbon?

seen it but its hard to find, someones said that I think

Years back my upline showed a tip from convention. They took rubber bands to put stamps together for a more uniform stamp. It probably wouldn't work too well with too many stamps though.

This is what I do when I want to stamp a word with my alphbet stamps.
Get all the letters together and then take a rubber band. and loop it twice so it's nice and tight and them stamp on a scrap paper to make sure it looks good before I stamp on my card.
Try it! you'll see it works!!

You know these forum's are so bad...they just make us pull out the cash to buy something else we didn't know we NEEDED! LOL!

I love clear alphabets - Wordsworth is coming out with some of their alpha's in clear - LOVE their fonts - I have one font that is rubber unmounted that I hope they come out with clear. WILD - Love it!

I have some Inky Antics stamps - amazing that I didn't know I had them - bought them at a stamp convention. Still have yet to use them...will check them out!

I do wish SU! would come out with acrylic stamps at least for the alphabets - and the hard to line up 2 step stamps.

I'm just hoping that SU! comes out with brads in all 48, I mean 60 colors. They suck us in too...coming out with new colors...grrrr....love it, hate the pocket book effect!

I have to agree on how great the Karen Foster Snap Stamps are! I have the 1/8 inch ones as well in the casual font...here's a card I did where I stamped the word "boo" on a TINY tag, and it was a snap! (no pun intended....well, kind of intended LOL!)

It's official... I'm in love. I love the snap-stamps by Karen Foster! I'll be adding these to the products I offer my customers, and to my ebay store! YAY! I love finding something new that I just LOVE!!

Here's a card I just finished, and I used the snap stamps as the "hello" sentiment.

SOOOO FUN!!! I love that they're perfectly spaced, and STRAIGHT every time!!

..... self-adhesive ribbon?

I have some of this from Queen & Co - you get about 5 or 6 co-ordinating lengths in a pack (I've got a pink pack and a purple pack). I don't use it that often because you can't knot it

Ok - I'm sold... just bought one of the 1/4" alpha sets. I don't care for small alphs because they're so hard to use - but I think the 'snap together' feature will be really cool. And, the samples linked in this thread really did it for me!

My husband surely thanks you ladies

Walmart has
sticky tape" ribbon...again you can only stick it down, no tying unless you put the KNOT piece onto the back before you stick it...then tie...

OK these snap stamps, someone said they snap together like LEGOs???

So how out of line would I be to say how about getting some Legos and mounting our stamps to those????

Mount then on the ends -- there are so many sizes of those legos there must be a size for every size alpha there is??

On the Snap Stamps - I am assuming it comes with multiples of letters? It says that the set includes 52 pieces, so that should be right. Confirmation, please?
