I am filling out paperwork right now to be an angel! I am so excited I can hardly contain it
Just curious, how is customer service with TAC? And what do you do with returns?
Customer Service is awesome! The ladies are always so nice! There are no returns unless there is a defect or error on TAC's part. In other words, you cannot return something because you don't like it. But you could work something out with your customer, and maybe save it for a future hostess gift. I've had 2 errors in my 1 1/2 year with TAC, and they will fix it and sometimes add an oppsie stamp.
Sandy
Customer service is great- They accidentally sent 2 of the same stamp sets for the bonus sets of my starter kit- they immediatly sent a new one out, paid the postage to return the other one. And when I got the replacement I got an "oopsie" set- 4 cute little stamps you can only get if there is an error!
Yes you may choose stamps from the Fall Supplement. All stamps you choose must be T coded (the code has to start with the letter T). And you choose either the Tombow Bright markers or the Impress Bright markers.

I just got Running Stitches last night. I think it'll be a ton of fun to work with! A few people have suggested slightly rounding the stamps for a different effect.
BTW, I got the Impress markers and I love them!

...and it should be here any day now!! ;) I keep looking for Mr Brown! I'm getting the running stitches too! The new sample on The Angel Company website uses them!
That is in retail sales, your personal sales don't count.
I sometime place an Customer Direct order for myself. And this way I pay full price for all my stamps and supplies!
And counts towards our $100.00 every 4 months
This way I can earn 25% back on my order.
And earn Carreer points!
You may purchase two ways When you are Demo for TAC.
Use your 30% off Demo Discount.
(Earn NO Commission on these sales)
Or
Purchase either a Customer Direct order or a Workshop and earn 25% back in Commission.
Since I have been a TAC demo I have only use my 30% Demo Discount ONCE! and I have been a Demo since 2004.
Using the Customer Direct order form is for orders under $100.00
Workshop or Funshop order forms are for Order over $100.00 and more.
So the only way that you do not earn commission on your sales would be on Demo Discounts & Supply order forms.
I faxed my paperwork yesterday afternoon and my upline called me late in the day to let me know that I am....Angel #3410! Yeah!
Now I just have to wait ever so patiently for my box o' fun to arrive. I included Running Stitches as one of my choices. Can't wait!
I decided to go with TAC because A) I really liked the artwork I saw in the catalog, B) there are a lot of SU! demos in my local area and I wanted to do something a little different, and C) I was totally blown away by how helpful and kind everyone associated with the company is. Don't get me wrong, I think the SU folks are pretty awesome, too. It's just that a few weeks ago I had the latest TAC catalog with me while I waited to pick up my stepdaughter at baggage claim in the Seattle airport. Another woman who was also waiting was very excited to see that I had the catalog and proceded to tell me all sorts of wonderful things about the products. Turns out she was waiting for her cousin, Avis Anderson, a member of TAC's founders club. Both women were very gracious and eager to answer my questions and both left me with their contact information just in case I had any further questions.
Isn't it great when stamping can turn strangers into friends?

AAAAACCCCCCKKKKKKK!!!!! You met Avis??????? Lucky gal!
Congrats on getting your wings! How exciting!!
And don't forget to visit www.ashadeofblue.net another wonderful stamping community that also offers forums for TAC business support, much like the demo only area here at SCS.
So.. if a person is filling out the application via the PDF file just downloaded from the TAC website.... Are the "extra" sets already included on this form or do you write this in somewhere else?
I just got an email from TAC because I asked the same question. They said to just write it on a separate piece of paper when I send in my application. Hope that helps.
Thanks!! Well.... I'm in the thinking about it stage right now. There aren't any demos in Minnesota... although I'd like to be a hobby demo. I think the stamps are great and I'm into the vinyl cling -- what could be better?
When choosing our stamps sets for the kit, can we pick out of the fall supp. just regular catalog?
And Impress or Tombow markers?
I would say TOMBOW markers!
They are rich in color and you can do more with these markers. coloring on Fabric,
You can also find replacement markers just about anywhere. Just in case you need just one.
Both markers have dual ends.

Hi Kimberly,
There are actually quite a few Angels in MN. If you would like to contact one that is close to you please call TAC at 785-820-9181 and they will be able to look up a few names for you. Please note that not all Angels have chosen to participate in the AngelNet ecommerce site, and at this time only those who have this option (which costs $$) are available on the Angel locator via the website. (The AngelNet ecommerce sites are the individual Angel websites that have the shopping cart feature.)
AngelECommerce is 6 month sub $59.95 plus a one time setup fee of $24.95. An annual sub is $99.95 plus a one time set up fee of $24.95. ;)
Since "Angelnet" tends to get used to describe both, I thought I'd throw this in before someone gets confused.
Angelnet is the online ordering system for demos- so you can take multiple credit cards per order and not have to have your own machine! It also tracks the orders you placed, keeps records of your commission, has your "family tree" etc.
Ecommerce is the online website- WITH shopping cart. Customers can register and place orders directly through the website. But if they want to earn freebies- they still need to contact a demo.
this time only those who have this option (which costs $$) are available on the Angel locator via the website.
And this is a reason I will never sign up with TAC again. I used to be a demo, but frankly so much for their christian principles when they punish demos who can't afford angel net. Sorry just my peeve about all companies who do that. Memory Works does not do that.
Do you think Ecommerce pays for itself? If this question is uncalled for disregard but I am very curious. Thanks.
I don't have it- but I have had multiple demos tell me it does.
Others have told me they aren't too sure yet. Really, in the grand scheme of websites, it's not expensive- especially because it is equipped with a shopping cart and you don't have to handle all the CC orders etc. However, since I am mostly a hobby demo, I haven't made the jump yet.
One thing to note- the "demo locator" on the TAC website is actually a "website locator" so if you do not have ecommerce, you will not be listed. If you are wanting to be found by people looking in your area, it is a cost of doing business.
FYI - I just got off the phone with a nice lady at TAC and she said they only accept the start up application through fax or snail mail.
So hubby is going to fax mine this a.m. yippee
Momofoneson the demo locator is something that TAC is working on. In the future they hope to have all active demos on a locator, but for now it is just those with a website. It has to do with keeping the records current of the demos status whether active/or inactive. Its not the perfect fix right now but at least it is something they are working on. When this will happen they do not know, sounds like a lot of work.
