Default Trimming rubber stamps

Hi Jackie,
Use your craft & rubber scissors that came with the starter kit. Make straight (not curved) cuts to avoid undercutting the rubber. Cut close to the image. Look on page 2 of the SU catalog. Hope that helps. I like to use WD-40 sprayed on a paper towel to clean off my scissors when they get sticky.

And...even though you're suppose to make straight cuts I cut the corners off any point. This way they don't catch some ink from the inkpads on the tip and then transfer to your cardstock. Hope that makes sense. Also, lay out your images on their corresponding wooden block before cutting them. You don't want to mount an image on the wrong block and have to remove it. Some blocks are very close in size and you think they're the same until you've mounted them wrong! Hope that helps.

Jackie, did you call your upline? Also, you should have a booklet called STAMPIN TECHNIQUES.

Mounting 101: Use the craft & rubber scissors (swipe blades across your VersaMark pad first to make them non-stick) and cut IN toward the stamp in straight lines. This is hard to explain without diagrams, but imagine a star shape: Cut the *v* shapes between the points of the star first, then go back around and trim the trips. Try not to slant your scissors so you won't have an edge hanging (without support) or the gray sponge showing.

The main thing is to pace yourself, so your hand doesn't give out! Hope this helps!
