Default i love the paint can idea, but....

Where can you purchase the paint cans and do they come with the lids? I have so many ideas I can use the paint cans for and i am anxious to get my hands on them.

Home improvement stores carry them, but the cheapest place I've found them is at a neighborhood hardware store.

Good luck!

I purchased mine at Lowe's. The gallon cans were $2.37 and the quart cans were $1.80 (give or take a penny or two). Yes, they come with the lids but you have to purchase the "key" separately. I found my "keys" at Walmart for $.34 each.

I get mine at Sherwin Williams or Johnston Paints. They come with a lid, a handle, and an opener. I tie my opener to the handle with ribbon. Please share your ideas!

My local Lowes gave me the key for free without a problem.
