This isn't a gel pen but I love the white chalk marker I got from Stampin' Up! I still have the one I bought a couple years ago and I use it often and it writes beautifully. White gel pens gave me a ton of trouble, too, so I'm happy I found this.
Another vote for the white Posca paint pen. They do come in multiple nib sizes so you need to be sure to get a fine one if you want to use it as you’d use a gel pen. I have one that’s been going strong for several years.

Thank you for reminding me I have this marker! My granddaughter used it today to finish her card.
I found this very helpful and informative. She has a lot of info in the description of the video so you can jump to specific tests if you want to skip parts and only see what she says about a particular pen.
When I previewed the post the link doesn't seem to be working so I'll just copy it here."https://www.youtube.com/embed/IOWvb6jZjVM" but take the quotes off the beginning and end.
So I see the editing still hasn't been fixed. SMH. Sorry the post looks like crap. I tried to fix it. Finally resorted to adding manual html code for line feeds. Wasn't the editor supposed to have been fixed months ago?
I agree that the Gelly Roll 08 Sakura is the very best. I have had some for 3 years and they still work great. I use them in my card classes and for writing on black and other dark card stock.
Add me to the list for the Sakura Gelly Roll pens. I got a set that includes an 05, 08, and 10 a couple years ago and I haven't had any issues with them.
The only ones I have ever been able to get to work are the gelly roll pens. I also use a white Sharpie, but it is thicker and more like a marker than a gel pen.
Can someone please direct me to a decent white gel pen that lasts longer than 5 minutes!!
I have bought so many different brands including Signo, Art impressions, and many others too many to list!!
Thanks in advance.
sakura gel pens come with various sized roller balls, and they also do a white shuffle pen. I like them all. The soufflé goes on clear, then dries to a white, opaque, matte finish. White-out works well too.

Reason: spellcheck wrong
I bought a package of three, Gelly Roll pens by Sakura, and they all continue to work after many years. I have tried many others including Signo, which only worked for awhile.
I had the same problem about finding a white gel pen that worked more than once. I bought a box of ARTEZA white gel pens, premium, that came in 3 sizes. So far they work every time I use them, which shocks me! hehe This was a while ago, so at the moment I can't remember where I got or saw them. But, I hope this helps.

I love ALL of Sakura's gel pens.....I use both the clear glaze and white pens constantly, plus I have just discovered the black glaze pen....super cool!! I have tried so, so many white gel pens and have been very disappointed until I found Sakura!!
The Uniball Sakura white ink pen has a fine point tip and last longer than most white pens. I use it for highlighting spots on my Lawn Fawn critters and other images. I don't like using a felt white pens since these pens are too bold on my images.
Posca pens are acrylic paint pens, so you should clean them with plain water. Definitely don't use OMS or paint thinner. I use them and the Sakura Gelly Roll pens; I love that the Gelly Roll comes in 3 sizes.
I assume you guys have noticed the tiny cover on the nib you have to remove before using gel pens; it's put there by the manufacturers to keep the pen from drying up. You should keep that if possible. I usually end up dropping mine, never to be found again. In that case, I melt a candle and tip the pen nib in the wax. Just a tiny drop; it works like a charm.
And Nancy, if you like the little critter stamps, then the Gelly Roll Glaze pen in black is perfect for their eyes.

Oh, I feel you Ms. Squirrelly! My husband had me believing that it was because we live in the Death Valley area.
Now I use the set of 3 sizes from Arteza.
And I don't always believe what he says when he does"t know what to say. LOL!
I've also used cheap white acrylic paint and a toothpick or extra fine line paint brush. I even kept a lip brush after it broke and the bristle part came off. The other end came to a semi point and and can be use in the same way as a toothpick just not as fine a line.
