Yes, I admit it, I have a huge problem with blogs! I read them to get card ideas and when I find an idea that I would really like to try, I think "Oh I can remember that." And go on to read another blog or two. Finding more ideas along the way. Every time I discover a new technique or card that I want to try I totally forget about the previous idea! And this goes on and on until I've read maybe 75 blogs. By this time my eyes are tired and in no condition to start a new project and I don''t remember any of the ideas anyway. So I'll just wait until tomorrow and try again. Next day--same song, different verse! I think I need help!

I know just what you mean..I wonder if there is anyway to save the blog as a html file so that the idea is there when you want to get it. Any computer-savy folks out there?
You can print articles from a blog. People print my tutorials all the time. If you use a color inkjet printer, it will print everything including the samples for later reference. Then, just jot down the web address at the top of the print out.
Hugs,
Gina K.

You can also subscribe to a lot of blogs so that you get an e-mail with a link every time a new article is posted. If you like the article, don't delete the e-mail and you can always go back to the article by following the link in your saved e-mail.
You could try the google reader and star the blogs that have techniques you want to try.
Yes! This is why I love Google reader! Plus I can sort blogs into files... and even share sellected blog posts with people... and they can just subscribe to my "Sarah's Shared Posts" feed!
My bloggy life is so much easier with Google Reader!
I have printed off the info from the blog. all so I jusy tried copy and paste into word file and I could not believe it, It Worked. Just popped it into my doc's and it is there waiting for me when I am ready to try the new technique or make that cool card!

Hahaha, you describe ME too!! I am totally addicted to reading other people's blogs .... thinking of ideas to do.... but I never get around to doing many of them (once in a while I actually stamp!!). One thing that has made a bit of a difference for me is... I have covered a composition journal just for me (~gasp~) to use to write/draw ideas. At first I just put the idea down and then would upload and forget who to give credit to. So now,I always remember to write down where I got the idea from. It also helps if I want to go back and look at it again. This system is working pretty good so far -- however, I still end up blog reading most nights....

REALLY?! I didn't realize they could do that...how cool cause I put things in my share folder all the time and then forget to post a link on my blog....so then no one knows that I am sharing! Wow...now they can just subscribe to the share folder link and get updates automatically when I find something cool to share! Wow...thanks for the tip Sarah.
I have over 100 stamping blogs in my favorites. I alphabetized them so I can remember where I left off when reading them. I am constantly adding and deleting. I delete those that are not updated a couple of times a week or if there are several pages in a row of things that don't appeal. I do not favorite the ones that are too wordy or have lots of scenery or family things added. Pure stamping all the way for me!! If I want to make something, I just drag the picture off into a folder on my desk and then I don't have to worry about finding it again.
What I also Like about staring people in google reader is that it makes it simple for me to remember who made the thing I like that I want to CASE; and then I am able to give them credit easier. Plus It only shows me updated posts so I don't have to waste time checking blogs without updates. As long as the full feel is open you will see the entire post... for those blogs without an open feed I just visit them once a week or so. Currently I have over 200 blogs that I peek in on. I can't get to them all everyday... but google reader makrks posts as I read them so I never have to read duplicate posts.
This may not be all that "techno-savvy" but it works well for me (sorta what Wiggy mentioned above) - I keep a little notebook next to my laptop when I'm browsing blogs and other crafty sites to take notes in. If I see a card or papercraft item, a recipe, or an especially enlightening article, I jot a note to myself with the blogs URL and the date that it appeared. I can usually find it quickly with that much information at a later date when I need to recall.
I, too, read many blogs daily. A wealth of information and ideas are out there and my old brain has trouble remembering where it all is (recall), so this works really well for me.
I've also started keeping a notebook next to me to jot notes in or sketch an example. These blogs are downright addictive! I open one and then click on a link here and there and before I know it, I forget where I started!

I look at a few blogs and like to save cards I see from them. I created file called "blog cards" and put it on my desktop. When I am looking at a card I llike, I right click and hit 'save picture to'...then you direct it to desktop, then to your blog file. This seems to work well for me. If I want the instructions sometimes, I copy the entire thing and paste it to my blog card file.

I know the blog thing is so addicting. I finally started one and am now wondering why I waited so long!
I browse SO MANY I need to get organized with them.
Maybe I'll try the google thing. Sounds cool.
Never thought to print the page!
