I applied for "The Greeting Farm" design team. ACK! I don't apply for many design teams -because like a lot of you I'm afraid of rejection- but I bit the bullet. Their stamps are so cute, and I really think that I suit their style, but I DON'T KNOW?!?! Now I sit and wait and get sick in the stomache.
Have many of you guys applied?

you're sweet. i am on the elzybells DT, but really that was one of the few I had the courage to apply for.
and to you: SEND IT!! what i've started to say to my students when faced with obstacles similar to this (auditioning for Universities etc) WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOSE?
but to swallow my own medicine.. lol

I applied for the High Hopes one...but heard nothing. :( It was only the 2nd time I applied for a DT...and I did that for kinda the same reason as you with The Greeting Farm...I thought my love of crazy critters would work for them.
I, too, prefer to live in oblivion...if I don't apply, I can psyche myself up and think I coulda made it...but didn't apply...LOL

I did not apply for this one but I have applied for others. I always take a look at their stamps first to see if it fits my style. If so, then I apply. There's no loss, I just make a card that I need anyways. It's tough not to get it but that just means that there is a better opportunity waiting out there for me. Stay positive! You may be surprised!

I applied for High Hopes too and I am dying to hear who was picked! I hate the waiting part!
Don't take it as rejection, take it as now you have to buy the stamps instead of getting them for free. I like the idea of working for stamps!!
To all who have applied -- Way to go! Best of luck to you.
To those who haven't -- If serving on a design team is one of your goals, you really should start sending in applications. Every time you go through the process, you learn more and get better at it. It helps you to grow as a designer when you push yourself and reach outside your comfort zone.
To those without blogs -- Many of the companies are requiring their design team member to have current blogs. If you haven't started your blog yet, there is a great group in the Blogs & Blogging forum here, and you'll find lots of help there. If there's any possibility you might want to consider applying for a design team in the future, think about starting your blog sooner rather than later.
To all who have applied -- Way to go! Best of luck to you.

Nobody should be afraid to apply....the worst is a no and that isn't the end of the world, just keep trying I figure what can it hurt to apply. They will never see your beautiful work otherwise.
don't worry about it now, if it is meant to be it will work out;
if your talent shows through, you will accomplish it. If it works out
just don't start the projects too late, allow that time to think it through and for ideas to come to you. You can do it, good luck

I would love to have applied - their stamps are so fun but losing my full time job in Sept has put a halt on all stamp purchases! So, I'm afraid I really can't dabble in different images for a while...I wish you the best of luck....Tobi, I have admired your work for quite some time....good luck to everyone that applied!
I'm afraid of rejection too but I tried out for both the high hopes and the greeting farm! I have my fingers crossed too! I would LOVE them!! I am on one now and just love the whole experience!
I applied for for the gardener team also. It's the first time I've ever submitted/entered before! It's so exciting. Either way!! I'm glad to just have entered. I think it's fun just to go through the process and know you tried.

Sniff, sniff, I'm SO sad! I tried out for the High Hopes team but didn't make it! That's okay though as I am sure it was a tough decision for her to make! There's always next time too! Congrats to any of you who did make it!!
