I can't seem to make a card without using Pop Dots lately. Everything has to be popped up, even 2 or 3 layers high. I don't know why, I just like the effect.
Tell me what you can't make a card without (and don't say 'card or adhesive or stamps' - we all know you can't make a card without those)
Stickles, flowers, and polka dots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, for the gallery police, maybe not, but it feels like that!! For guy cards I try so hard not to, but usually give up and put those on anyway.
I seem to be in a ribbon rut too lately. I am trying to taper off, and now instead of tying a ribbon all the way around my image, sometimes I manage to include just a little bow. But not always.
Oh I totally am addicted to Pop Its as well (check my gallery and you will see what I mean!), though lately I seem to be using a lot of rhinestones on my cards as well. Lovin' the bling!
I really like some kind of dimensional embellishment on every card. Otherwise, it looks plain to me, no matter what the design. I seem to like buying brads, so I guess it is a good thing to use them too!
Copics.... There are a few without them in my gallery but since I got them 99% of my cards use them.
Oh yeah! I don't have Copics yet, but I also forgot that I use watercolours on nearly every card! I didn't mention them 'cause to me they are just like adhesive (one uses them on every card).

Ribbon and Pot-dots here too. I wish I could into my cuttlebug more.....but there is always some other technique I want to play with. My Christmas card is already planned with a cuttlebug folder as the centerpiece.

One things doesn't change - layering with dimensionals. Everything else, I seem to be going through the stages. It's been Prisma pencils and baby oil for awhile, then watercolouring, then copics, Nestabilities, it is changing. Right now it is watercoluring (copics look) with SU markers.
I can't make a card without ... wine &/or chocolate! LOL!

I laughed when I read the subject. I thought about my answer and it's so funny. I can't make a card lately without a scallop or an owl. The other day I made a card without an owl and I thought there was something missing on my card so I stamped an owl on back, ROFL! I need to get another personalized stamp just with an owl on it.
I am addicted to scallops. Scallop anything it does not matter. When the trend goes away I will probably cry, ROFL!
One of my most treasured crafting tools is my Giga Scallop Punch, ROFL! I have the scallop nesties and scallop Cricut cartridges. It's an obsession.
girl.... I haven't made a card without popping layers up for 3 years..
don't worry about it.
i think it makes the cards look more professional.
other than pop-dots, i think i'm fairly generous with my use of supplies. I can put down my copics when needed, and i don't always use just ONE THING... except pop-dots. lol
