Almost 3 years for me. I got in just before the big burst, boy have things changed! I think it was my S-I-L (who hardly ever is on-line) pointed me here to the gallery. I signed up as a Demo 6 months later. Who could go wrong with all these wonderful ideas and encouragement?

I've been here for just about 7 months. My demo told me about this site and I've been hooked ever since I signed up. I've learned so much here and find so much inspiration.
January 2006 for me. The first time my friend tried to tell me how much she loved something called "rubber stamping" (I had NO idea what she was talking about), she told me about this place called Splitcoast. Well... I came home and looked at SCS to see if I could at least understand her hyper-excitement and sputtering about stamps made out of rubber!
Fast forwarding to today... I think I've been online everyday since that first day! And at now well over 100 stamp sets later--I get it!!!
Novemver 2006. A friend told me about this site and I think I have visited it
every day since. Since I don't have a stampin up demo anywhere near me,
I have looked for inspiration for all my cards. I really love this site.

Hey Paris!! Glad to "see" you again!
I think I came here just around the same time that you did .. 3 years!
In fact, we had a sort of "caribbean drum beat" to your name!! LOL ;)
I just checked and it's been almost 3 years for me too. Joined in June of 2004 #6721. My sideline told me about SCS, I think my upline thought I would figure out how she came up with all her cute designs if I knew. I came here and checked it out and never looked back.

Live in the moment and make it so beautiful it's worth remembering.
For me it's been almost one year, by the end of this month. I've learned bunches. This is great entertainment for me. All of you talented artists are so gracious with your photo sharing and tips. I appreciate you and the wonderfull ladies who originated this sight. I am a disappointed to log on this morning and see my posts go from 1495 to 8 though!? Has this happened to anyone else? I enjoy the different names we get with accumulated posts and my dh gets a kick out of how many cards I've looked at and left comments for. Just a little sad:(
This has happened to alot of us this morning. There is a forum that you can tell them when you have a problem and it has already been mentioned. I am sure this will be remedied shortly. Hope this cheers you up a bit. You are right this is a great place and we all have learned so much. My cards have certainly grown since I first started to come here daily.
Coming up on two years for me. A fellow stamper told me about it, and I lurked around for quite awhile before actually posting or uploading. Now it's the home page on my system so it's the first thing I see when I come to the computer and more often than not, the last thing I check before I call it a day....I confess to being totally addicted....but I know I'm not alone.
Karen, thank you for your reply I really do feel better already. I'm gonna go try to find the forum. Enjoy your day and your time 'coasting!
The same thing happened to me, but I don't recall my exact number previously. However, the forum that addresses such things is Reader Feedback, Site Suggestions and Questions. There are some questions about this posted, but I don't think there's an "official" response yet. But I gather it is happening to everyone. Pretty sure they'll have it corrected as soon as they can.
Hello from South Central Minnesota!!! I found SCS about a year ago and decided to put my foot in and test the waters . I was introduced to card making after I BURNED myself out on scrapbooking (my journaling turned into books.... I think I have a compulsive obsessive side:-D So through other friends watched them making cards on day (was inticed with a cup of coffee) now I have a new obsession AND my hubby rolls his eyes too. Its a addiction but I have known worse ones;) at least I can sell "GOD FORBID" my stamps or other tools couldn't sell burnt up cigarette butts or empty booze bottles ha ha to anyone as far as I know. Any way glad to be here and thanks to all of you for sharing your talents, I will continue to enjoy the ride as long as I CAN!!! Maybe I'll share mine one day too. By the way I have an awesome SU demonstrator in town here too!!!
