Just passed my one year anniversary! I've been stamping for several years but never had much time to get really into it. Last summer my kids got very into it and I finally had time and was very into expanding my stamp collection. I bought some SU sets from Craigs List from a wonderful lady named JonJinko (Hey there!) who shared some wonderful samples and the name of this site. I've been hooked ever since!!!!!

I was the first person to sign up as a member. Daven asked a few of Tracy's downline to test the new website. Little did we know....

I signed up on SCS back in September, but really didn't get into it until the end of January, and I've been totally obsessed ever since. I was introduced to it by a friend. I'm wondering why my SU demo (and the one before her) never mentioned it. Splitcoast is the BEST!!!!!

A coworker "turned me on" to SCS. At first I only browsed the galleries and drooled. Then I started learning about tricks and tools by reading the forums and now I actually post and ask questions with tons of INSTANT help!

I don't have a gallery as I don't think I'm "that" good, but my friends and family enjoy receiving what I make =)

It is fun reading everyones SCS stories!!
I stumbled across SCS on my own, looking for card ideas. It will be 1 year in August since I joined and almost 1 1/2 years being a "stamper". Not sure what I did with my free time before this hobby?? 523 images & over 7,500 posts in less than a year.....guess I might need to find a local stampers anonymous group! :-)

I signed up to this board in 2006 after my demo told me about it. At the time I mostly lurked. I've started to come out here a bit more this year. Love the many wonderful and talented folks on this board!

I joined about 15 months ago, when I was still living in Orlando. I was getting ready to move to Melbourne at the time.

At that time, the only card making board I was on was CircleOfCrafters. I'm pretty sure someone posted a link to SCS and I followed it here. Been hooked on this place ever since!

I actually registered in November, 2005. A group of my stamping friends found this site and we all used it for ideas for our Stampin' UP! sets. I probably lurked for close to a year before I registered. I've been on the site everyday since!

I joined April 19, 2004. I was told about the website at a Stampin'Up workshop. Absolutely one of the best things I have done!

I love the inspiration on SCS in the galleries. Sometimes I don't like how trends sweep through, but there's stuff in there to appeal to everyone. It's a great forum. And I love VSN!

I joined in March of 06, I think. I had purchased a couple of sets of SU stamps, some paper, and a color group of inkpads and the demo wrote down this website and told me to join.

The supplies sat in my *sewing room* for a year, untouched. I didn't look at this websight all year either. The words that come to mind are *totally intimidated*. Then a friend took me under her wing and begin to teach me. Gradually, I started peering in to the daily SCS gallery and finally got the courage, over a year later, to case someone.

The rest is history - I'm now shamelessly addicted. Oh, and my *sewing room* is now overrun with these little plastic boxes that have wood and rubbah in them!

I've been here a year but was a lurker for a bit before. I found this site through a google search and it was the top one for card making forums. I was a member of a UK forum but was unhappy with it as people were always moaning, b****ing about other people and the cards in the gallery were not my style at all. When I first started looking through the gallery here I was overwhelmed with the quality and range of styles of the cards and knew that this was the place to be to be inspired! Not in some forum/gallery where people thought sticking a few stickers on to a plain white card was good (I certainly didn't think so anyway!).

Since then my doors have been opened (as has my purse!) and I feel I have really improved (although I'm still nowhere near as good as some of you wonderful ladies!) and I have learned so much from CASEing, the tutorials and challenges.

I'm totally popping my eyes out over your post count!! LOL

I've been here 3 years now.

My CMC best friend "made" me go to a SU party and I got sucked into the rubber cult. I then found SCS through a yahoo group (midwest stampers) whom my friends sister-in-law had told me about.

I remember asking my demo if she knew about it..turned out she did and never told us! Ugh!! I then passed it along to every stamper I knew, and the addiction grew even worse. (I became a demo too) This became the first place I'd turn to when I bought a new stamp set LOL I still love it here and visit daily...I love to see how the site grows and changes!

And now, I can search for more than "just" SU stamps ;) Totally exciting!!

I registered in mid 2005; so it's been a little over 3 years for me. Wow, time flies. I found out about SCS from one of my upline when I was a demo. I believe when I first came to the site I may have looked at the gallery for ideas, but that was basically it. I didn't know anything about forums or how they worked. I'm not sure when I started to actually browse the forums. I eventually signed up for demo access and that is when I became familiar with the forums. I dropped as a demo earlier this year. I am on here every day that I have access to a computer with a high speed connection. Which is basically every day. I also became a fan club member about 2 years ago. I love the Dirty Dozen section of the site. I got rid of all but one magazine subscription because I don't need them since I found SCS. This place is so amazing. I cannot imagine stamping without this resource.

A really cool thing happened the other day. I ran into someone at the local ACMoore that is also addicted to SCS. She was looking for EZMount and I overheard her telling the young girl with her. I told her where she could find it and we chatted for a minute or two. She mentioned SCS and I told her I am on here all of the time. That was the first time I met someone from here. That was just so cool.

It is very cool reading all of the posts here.
