i make sure i cut my ribbon with super sharp scissors. if the ribbon still frays, i will run the tip of my crystal effects (simple shine.. whatever) along the end of the ribbon. this seals it perfectly!

I was going to say something similar to Tobi. They make some stuff called FrayCheck, too. I know it's used on fabric, but not sure how it works on ribbon.
Burning the edges with a lighter works REALLY well. I do it on all of my ribbon edges. Of course, be really careful..I watched someone do this on a video once, tried it and I been doing it ever since.

Thanks for the replies! I bought some stuff originally called Aleens stop fraying but it did not work! I had found something online that made the ribbon hard and stopped it fraying but could never find it!
I was a ballet dancer from 3-14 years and my Mom always burnt the ends of the ribbon on my ballet and pointe shoes so thats the only way I knew how to stop the fraying! it never curls or burns, you have to run it quickly across and make sure its in the blue flame not the red and it works wonderfully.
Always wondered if there was a less dangerous way hehe! I have diamond glaze, maybe I will give that a go next time!
