Default How do you package your cards?

Hi everyone, like many here (I suppose) I am giving sets of notecards for Christmas to friends and family. Usually when I give people notecards I buy a decorative box and package them that way. This year, I'd like to be able to make the packaging or find a way to package them for under $1/set.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I could package them, besides a bag topper? I want something that looks nice, something they could store the cards/envelopes in until they are ready for them. I'd like to be able to fit 10 cards in a set. I'd really like to be able to make it, but if it is something I could buy for under $1 a piece I could do that.

Thanks for any ideas.

I use clear boxes from Clearbags.com. They come in sizes to fit any number of cards...and they look nice with just a ribbon because you can see the decorated cards inside.

You're welcome!

Clearbags tends to be expensive for shipping if you just need a few...but I found these on Ebay. I use 1" boxes for sets of 3 cards with envies with TONS of embellishments...so I would say you could realistically fit about 6 in that box...but they may carry thicker ones for more cards.

I just made a 10 card and envelope holder last night. Let me see if I can find the link, yep, here it is:

It worked out perfect, I didn't take a picture, I was in a hurry to get to a Christmas party.

Try making these boxes. I haven't made one yet but I have it bookmarked.

Thanks so much for all the help! I LOVE that A2 card box, I think I will use my transparencies and do those. So easy and quick, and cheap since I already have all the materials.

Thank you again, you ladies are amazing.

I have bought these clear boxes from Kate at i {heart} papers and everyone is so impressed with how put together the package is when I give them a gift pack of cards. I know that shipping is free over $40 and she has good deals on other items too.
