Default How do you do this technique?

I've been admiring the GREAT Paint Prints cards done w/ the Expressionistic Watercolor? Is it just spray CS w/ water & then stamp? TIA, juddaca

what I do is spray CS w/water then stamp and stamp some more w/o reinking stamp, you can also lightly mist the stamp and stamp on the wet CS, it gives a nice blurred image where the colors bleed into the CS, most use a spectrum pad of any color combo you like, or you can just go ahead and use classic inks.

yes, Expressionistic Watercolor was a technique in the 12/04 TJ Newsletter www.patstamps.com. Shimmer White CS seems to work the best for ths technique. Spritz CS, ink stamp and stamp onto wet CS, colors will vein - heat dry (both sides of the CS to uncurl) reink stamp and stamp ontop of first image.

I believe that is a Technique Junkies technique from this past (or the one before) newsletter. If you haven't heard of her, Pat has a great site at www.patstamps.com, and a technique newsletter for both stamping and scrapping.

Thanks for the expanded explanation, Girls! Shimmer white, huh? I've kept a white-knuckle clutch on that pack I ordered 2 years ago! Guess I should take a deep breath & pull it out of the file, because I love what I've seen! This is the beautiful card that really got my juices flowing, among others I had seen posted:
