Default How do you decide which stamps sets???

I am going crazy with all the cute ideas here on SCS and it is driving me insane! How in the world do you just not want EVERY stamp set??? The more samples I see the more it makes me want even sets that I previosly thought ugly!

So how do you decide which stamp sets are a MUST for you?? I really need to get a handle on my addiction! My SU! business cannot justify all that I *want*! (not to mention my budget!)

Thanks for your advise!

I decide what is my "style", then go from there. I am not much of a flower person or some of those weird asian themes, so it just depends on what grabs my eye and what I WILL use again and again.... I don't keep my retired sets so my sets go when I no longer use them for at least a year or are retired so always room for more ;)

I try to see what sets I have that I can apply to different card layouts. You would be suprised how creative you can get when you dont have a set but like the layout. I usually stick to buying things that I can use for more than 1 occasion. I have had to start getting rid of retired stamps, since I would hate to make a cute card and have someone want that set. That makes a little extra $$ to buy new stuff.
