But that is what I am saying! IF you do Not have your stamps already, yours might be in the group that is going to arrive FASTER now since they changed the system.
Given that the first order I did with them last year I had in 5 weeks I'm failing to see that 8 weeks into this order that this is faster.
I had already perused the High Hopes catalog and had a list of stamps I wanted to order when I had some $$. (Just made my final car payment today - woo hoo!) When I went back to place an order half of them were missing! (One of them even was even linked from their own blog!) I've emailed them. I've left a comment on their blog. No response. I won't order from them and I've just advised my friend not to, either, based on all the negative comments I've read and my own experieince with them.

I think they are a good hearted company - though, truthfully I am still waiting. I would rather spend my money on products produced with the best of intentions. However, it is just frustrating dealing with them at the moment.
Their stamps are there from what I have found though sometimes you have to follow the links from the other stamps - I don't think they have retired anything - if they have many are still on their website you just have to follow weird paths to find them.

No, they are GONE from the site. I followed a link from the official High Hopes blog and it said "Hippo cannot find that stamp at the moment. Try again later" or something like that.
I did hear from Bethany finally. Looks like the missing stamps will be back tonight. Also sounds like maybe those of you with horribly backordered stuff may be getting your order soon.

We just had to temporarily delete them all while we uploaded the new release images and have not had the time to re-program them all back onto the website due to delayed orders that needed special attention. Good intentions or not, NO stamp is worth waiting 8 weeks for. There are just too many other companies out there. Hopefully their new facilities will allow them to fill orders in a more reasonable timeframe. I'll be checking the boards to see when that happens because I really do like their stamps I just refuse to wait that long for any stamp.
I understand what people are saying but the lines of these stamps really appeal to me AND the quality of their product has been good so far.
So even with all the wait, if asked would I do it again I would have to answer yes. Their stamps just speak to me at this time. There are other companies like that for me too.

I ordered stuff last wk, just wondering how long it will take. I'm not the most patient person in the world!
I love their stamps and I think they are a good hearted company with growing pains but I can't lie about my order to receipt times. I plan to buy from them again in the future but I will probably email them first to see what their "current" waiting time is.
I finally received my stamps from them after about 2 months. THe thing that made me angry was that she kept e-mailing me about how sorry she was that I had not received my stamps and she would resend them. When I finally received them the shipping date was 5/5 and I rec'd them on the 7th. If they are sent out when we are told they are being sent out = there should be no problems. My cousing had the same problems and received the same e-mails from High Hopes so I think until their "growing pains" gets fixed I'm staying away from this comapny.
I was expecting a few "freebies" that everyone talked about getting but I didn't get a thing extra.
I am waiting on an order I placed 2 months ago. I have sent 3 e-mails. I did get a reply to one of them saying Bethany was going to look into it. If I ever get these stamps, they will be my last.

i have been waiting for just over a month - i was not advised how long they take, but i deal with many stamp cmpanmies in the US and Canada and have never had this kind of trouble. I have sent emails asking about my progress but to no avail. I personally think that if they have too much work or whatever the reason there is a delay in sending stamps then they should not take the consumers money or at least have the manners to respond to emails.
Its completely frustrating and i dont card how cute their stamps are i will NEVER purchase from High Hopes again.
Oh no I am so glad I found this thread before ordering from them-I saw a few stamps I wanted to order to make gifts for the kids teachers (I know I procrastinate) but given their shipping time there is no way I would get them in time to make gifts.
I will have to check back and see what their shipping time is in the future-the stamps are really cute!

I ordered my stamps on March 19th and have yet to receive them. I live in the same province as them so mail shouldn't be THAT slow. I emailed the first week in May and got a reply on May 6 (2 days after I sent my email) with the same explanation that a lot of you did. It's May 27th and I still haven't received my order. This is highly frustrating. While it's good for them that their business is expanding, they have to be more up front with the customer concerning turnaround time of orders. This is my 2nd order placed with them. My first order was placed in late December and I waited until the end of February to receive that order. Sadly, as much as I love their cute images, I doubt I'll be ordering again until their growing pains are under control. Still waiting . . . . . . . .

I hope they are changing their process. I hope they aren't catching up because people don't want to wait and thus aren't ordering from them. :(

But the great news is, along with my order, they included FOUR other adorable stamps since I had to wait so long! This is the first time I have ordered, and I just LOVE their stamps! They also told me that things were looking better and orders should be filled much quicker now.
High Hopes has always included extra stamps when I've ordered from them. They told me (I called them about the extras) that is normal. Isn't that neat - extra stamps?!

I'll be interested to learn this. I'd love to place an order with them, but IMO waiting 2+ months is almost as bad as not getting your order at all.
When do they charge your card - when they place the order or when it ships? Not saying this is the case because I don't know, but it's unconsionable for a company to use people's money for months w/o sending the paid-for product.
You won't be able to order them for long.. they are going strictly wholesale starting Aug 1st.. They are hoping to get their issues with ship time under control.. So you may want to order before then..

Here is another example of waiting too long, I placed an order with High Hopes on April 3, was charged that day. I called about 3 weeks after the order, because I had seen the threads here and was told it would ship in about two weeks. After 3 weeks I emailed and did not receive a reply. I have since tried to reach someone by phone or email and have gotten nothing in reponse. It is now July and I still don't have my order. I am at the end of my patience now.

I have just received my first order ever from High Hopes. Luckily due to this forum I knew there would be a wait to get them, but as I ordered them just before going overseas for 10 weeks it didn't matter. I think they took about 6 to get here to Australia. I was so thrilled to open the parcel when I got home as I had ordered 3 stamps and received 8! A couple were ones I wanted too, a couple are ones that I probably won't use, but may be able to swap or something one day. I will be interested to find out which stores will be selling them after August. I love these stamps and think they were worth the wait.

Yes, but you can order from High Hopes until August 1! They will have on the front page of the site who carries their stamps. I placed an order last week on line (and got a receipt) - they have changed their mail system, so the last order I made didn't take as long to get to me.
