I'm from Austin, but alas, I'm not a demo :( , so I'm not going to Regionals. I would love to meet some of you guys. There has been so much inspiration and information galore.

I guess depending when in Feb it is, I could alway drive up for the day and hang out.

My DH and I are both transplanted Texans living in Oklahoma. My dad went to U. of Texas (Hook 'em!) so I have to be very careful during Texas-OU weekend.

I grew up in Abilene (west Texas) and my DH grew up in Lubbock. Although he didn't go to TT, he's still a raider fan.

We both met in college at McMurry in Abilene!

Kat,

You don't need to be a demo to attend Regionals. Demos get first dibs, but 3 days after registration opens, if there is still room, anyone can attend.

$75 for a day of stamping, you also get lunch and a brand new stamp set.

I think it is a bargain, if you ask me!

Your demonstrator can register you, I believe registration begins on December 8th.

Milette, thanks for the info. I'm seeing my demo tonight...it's hostess club night , my favorite time of the month! I'll check with her to get the scoop. I met a few people at the Paper Expo last month, and that's when I found out about this place! I'll let you guys know if I get to come or not. Wish me luck!

North Central Texas checking in. I live in Poolville which is 50 miles NW of Fort Worth and 75 miles SE of Wichita Falls. It's the booneys, but I wouldnt have it any other way.

My family (four lil boys and dh) live in Kingwood (Houston). We moved here in June '03 and LOVE it!! I'm from Chicago and have lived all over Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and Colorado. I don't think you could ever find a better group of folks than Texans!! I just love this place!

From reading all these posts above mine, I'm beginning to think we should have moved to San Antonio instead! That seems to be the happening place! :lol:

I've been a demo almost 4 years. It's been such a blessing with the move here. I have made so many friends in such a short time! Did I mention that I LOVE Texas???

I'd love to go to the Regionals but I'm a bit of a whimp going alone. I haven't met any other demos here :?
