Howdy! I am new here. I love Stampin up stamps! They make the best stamp pads ever! I live in the Dallas Metroplex. I would love to trade ideas. I make cards and do scrapbooking. Have a good day.
Tammy in Texas[/b]
I think there are quite a few Texans on this board. I moved to San Antonio last Summer. I love it here. If you are ever down here...come by and stamp a bit.
Hi, Tammy & Beate
I am also new to this site. I just became a SU Demo and currently live in WI. My husband has family that lives in Texas and we are looking ft places of interest. Possibly move? :? We do have 3 children (12, 8 & 3) and the thought of taking them away from their friends is had. But we are tired of the amounts of snow we get. The winters are very long here.
Welcome, again Tammy. Thanks for sharing all your great ideas Beate.
Welcome, Tammy & Cheri! I'm sure you will love this site - it is wonderful!
I'm a fellow Texan also. Isn't it nice to know you've got neighbors around! My family and I live in Cedar Park, on the NW side of Austin. My husband and I are both graduates from The University of Texas. After a nine year stint in the Seattle area, we decided to abandon the rain and come "home". It was a great decision - Texas is a great place to live (as long as you've got air conditioning!). We've been back 5 years now.
I also live in Texas. We're in Frisco, which is a suburb of Dallas. Been in Texas all my life and love it! Hubby was born and raised in Iowa, but moved down here to fall in love with me and get away from the winters.
I'm a Texas girl, been here all my life! I live in Schertz - just Northeast of San Antonio. Isn't it a wonderful state? Especially now that it is sunny again, and not-so-miserably-raining like over the weekend!
Location: hanging' with all the other sassy sistahs!

Hey, anyone here from Texas?
Okay, all of you are making me homesick! I'm a Texas girl born and bred, but have lived away from the state for 15 (gasp! ) years.
I currently reside in Chardon, Ohio, a little town northeast of Cleveland. I do love it here, even with the 100 inches of snow that we get each winter. But I will always have a place in my heart that belongs in Texas. The bluebonnet card and scrapbook page posts that I've seen here recently have brought back many special memories!
My husband and I both attended the University of Texas, and most of my relatives all live in the Austin area. My hubby has a sister and mother who live in San Antonio (and just LOVE Stampin' Up!) and a sister who lives in Dallas. We don't get to visit as often as I'd like, but it will always be home to me. Thank you for the memories, ladies!
Keep stamping in the Lone Star State! And I'll see some of you at the Toledo regional conference on Friday!

I think we need a shout out from the southeast part of the state!!! (It is a big state) I'm from The Woodlands....just north of Houston!! Yay! I know I have fellow demos from this area who visit the wonderful site. Great ideas and such friendly people...from all over the world!
Hey guys! Texas is a big state, and y'all have all the metropolitan areas covered. I live in rural west Texas. A small town 60 miles south of Lubbock, and 55 miles north of Midland. We are Texas Tech Red Raiders here. This part of the state is not like the rest. It's hot and dry and we have huge sandstorms this time of year, but it's home and I love it! We also have great Stampin Up reps. I'm glad too, as we have so far to drive to be in a large city.
Happy Stamping,
Tracy
Hi, ya'll! I have noticed that there are plenty of Texans from Dallas and Austin and all the northern western areas, but don't forget the rest! I live in Houston (go Houston) and there are a couple of great reps here too!
I currently live in Alaska, but have only 3 months left until we move to San Antonio! AND I CANNOT WAIT!! We were in Texas before we came here (stationed at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls). Texas is my hubby's home (family in Dallas, Richardson, Garland, Frisco) and I consider it home although I'm a "military brat" and have lived all over the world. I do have some family in San Antonio along with lots of friends we've been stationed with over the years and cannot wait to meet back up with them again.
Hi, ladies. I am in San Antonio! Wouldn't it be nice if we can all get together one day?
I heard that people around the great lakes have smaller version of regionals. I am just guessing from what I have heard but it sounds like some of the motivated demos get together 200-300 demos in the surrounding states and do a mini version of a regional type get together
That will be so much fun! We can even do a Texas theme hour where we share ideas on bluebonnets designs, etc.!
just reading some of the postings tonight and saw the one asking for stampers in Texas. I have lived in San Antonio since 1982 and love it! I now live in Converse not that far from Judson and Randolph Air Force Base. I got into stamping about 3 years ago and haven't looked back. Found this site one night while surfing for "stamping ideas and web sites" and have become hooked. It would be a great idea to get together with anyone who's interested and have a "stamping" party and get to know one another and maybe share ideas.
I live in Austin, moved here ASAP after college. I love Texas, love Austin, love the heat, love it all! I just completed my very first upload and it is a card I made with Petal Prints, I call it my Bluebonnets card. Be sure to check it out and leave your (Texas-friendly) comments! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it!

HEEEEEY! You so need to come and stamp! I'm in Schertz, and drive through Converse twice a day to get to work! Waving to you, magpie!

Ayse? Is that you? I'm so happy you're sharing your awesome work! Have you used that boatload of cardstock you ordered when you first became a demo yet?
Hi Ya'll! I am currently in Columbus Mississippi BUT will be moving to very soon to SAN ANGELO Texas for a short time. I was wondering if there are any SCS there!
Shelley
Hey, Gals---Another shout out from Austin!!! I am originally a San Antonio gal that graduated from Judson H.S. (too long ago to give the year!) and my folks still live in Live Oak. Although I love Austin, I wouldn't mind moving to San Antonio. We could live in a mini-mansion for what we paid for our house here in Austin!!! LOL
Cheri---my hubby was born and bred in Green Bay, WI and LOVES it here even though he has to put up with the Dallas Cowboy fans. He doesn't miss the snow one bit!
Isn't there some kind of regional Texas meeting in the Spring in San Antonio? If so, we need to make sure to meet up with each other.
We are stamping out here in West Houston (Katy) also! I just came across someone from here last week that also lives in Katy. What a small world! Keep on stamping everyone. I love to get new ideas!

Hi Jenn,
Yes, it's me, Ayse! I used that paper up a LONG time ago!!
I wasn't born here but got here as fast as I could!! We live in Arlington, new home of the Dallas Cowboys!!! (well, 2009!) Hubby is a born Texan and I am from Ohio. LUV it here and as long as we get one day of snow I'm ok!! Y'all have a great day!!
