Default HELP! Where is the rest of this Calendar posted?

Hi all - I remember seeing the most gorgeous sample of a CD calendar on a website. Once upon a time, I had the link saved, but all was lost when my harddrive died. I have one picture saved that I managed to back up. Does anyone out there know where this CD calendar is posted (I looked on SCS, but I don't think I found it here) I want to CASE some of the ideas, but also give the creator credit!

TIA!
Caroline

Caroline, I think I've seen that before, and here.

Have you checked the Anything But A Card gallery? There is a special gallery for calendars, and I'm still moving stuff into it.

I'll see what I can find. . .

These calenders are beautiful! This is the first I've heard or seen calenders in CD cases. I've looked at the suggested templates, web sites and samples. But, I guess I don't quite get it. Do you put one month in the case at a time, or do you put all 12 months in and take a month out when it is over? (don't think 12 months of decorated cardstock would fit all at once) How do you get the case to stand up on it's own? I tried it with one of mine and the only way it would stand up is with the CD still in the case. If you take the CD out, do you decorate the bottom part? Learn something new everyday! Thanks.

Wow! Thanks Jenn and Keri... you guys are THE BEST!!!! These are so beautiful, and I'd like to "whip" some out for gifts. (Not so much "whip" as slave tirelessly)

BlueMoon... you can use a regular CD case for these, but they don't swing open all the way, so you have to remove the top and reattach it the oppoosite way so that it can stand up. Then you have to remove the section the CD normally sits in. The only problem is that there is no ledge to keep the pages in... I know that people use the normal CD cases, but I'm not sure what they do, exactly. I decided to order some special CD cases that are specifically designed to hold calendars. They swing open all the way, and have a ledge to hold the pages in. I think if the pages are not too bulky all 12 months will fit, but I'm not sure how bulkier pages will work. Nothing for it but to try it out!! I ordered from www.effectuality.com, because they had no minimum order (many locations require you to order by the case - someone was looking to split an order on here recently). The place I ordered from also carries mini CD calendar cases, so I got some of those to play with, too. The caveat is that they are a Canadian company, so shipping takes a bit longer - it has to go through customs first.

HTH
And thanks again, Jenn and Keri!!

Caroline
