Question Help with taking pictures/lighting

What is the best way to take a picture of a card that has sparkle in it?
It seems like no matter what I try I can never get any shimmer or shine to show up in my pictures. Is there a trick to having your lighting a certain way?

I find I can only accurately portray glitter in a photograph if I take the picture at an angle. If the light is coming from the right side, I shoot from the left side so the light bounces off the glitter.
