I am having a heck of a time with these cups - how can I make them "removable" so the recipient can just open and eat the candy rather than ripping the card apart?? Or not knowing they can EAT the treats inside??? Is there a way? I saw one in the gallery where they used a tag but no instructions were given?!?!?!
Oh, and how do you get the candies to say INSIDE while you flip it over and adhere it to the card??? I think I am making this harder than it is, but I cannot seem to wrap my head around it!!!!
AND any pointers on using the Sweet Centers set with it? I tried the flower petals and it looked TERRIBLE!!!
I am frustrated that I spent so much $$ on the set & the cups & the punch......

I found this tutorial at FroggieStamps that is really great with pictures and a video that shows how to make a card that lets up into the treats without destroying the whole card. So cute! And great tutorial. I think I need to add these cups to my order now.

Check out Becky Roberts blog "Inking Idaho"...she's got step by step instructions on how to make a sliding door for your treat cups...Here's the link...
Glad you got the trap door figured out, Chris! Frustration with a new set is the PITS, lol! I wanted to mention, too, that sometimes it's hard to get great impressions with solid stamp images, and I find using craft (pigment) ink works so much better.
That set is so fun, isn't it? I saw some awesome gel cards using this set and cups today. I remember doing those years ago, but never would have thought to try the cups with it! Way too cool...
I've also seen one at Founders where a hole was punched for the Sweet Treats cup using the SU Scallop Circle punch - I think the lovely Mary Polcin made it - you can then just gently pull the cup out (it wasnt adhered down) as the scallopy bits give some wiggle room - it works a treat - I've attached a photie that we took at the dinner table
I made a flower "lollipop" for a friend. I used the perforating blade from the cutter kit to make an X on the back so she could open it to get the candy out. It won't be reusable, but I told her we could stuff it with tissue paper then tape the back closed so it will still be pretty.
I use the perferating tool to cut an x in the cardstock behind the sweet treat cup. That way all they have to do is peel back the x, and the candy will come out. You can also peel back the cardstock, put in the candy, and place the cardstock back down. Super easy and works great.
Ohhh... I am sooooo subscribing to this thread!! I haven't played with the cups, yet, but the box is sitting on the table just waiting for me!!! And I see myself having a similair problem as the OP!! Thanks for the alll the great tips/threads/blogs/youtubes!!!

Sweet Treat Cups
Here's one I put on my blog today with a slider to get to the candy. There are only a couple of pictures, but I do give pretty detailed instructions on how to assemble. The sweet treat cup is just held into place by a couple of glue dots. The backing on the cup is not removed, so it could be reused in another card if so desired.

Thank you crafters for sharing. I really enjoy surfing this site. I just received my cups, I can not wait to create! I better stop looking and get to crafting. Thanks again for your talent and time.
