I'm just across the river from Louisville in Jeffersonville! So where are you?
You have snow there!? I am going there Louisville this weekend and don't want snow! I live in NO. IN and no snow here! I thought it was the 1st day of Spring!:???:
I am right there with you, today is my day off and here it is almost noon and all I've done so far today is:
~drive kids to school
~roast several batches of coffee (that was a worthwhile accomplishment)
~chit-chat with sister on the phone
~read splitcoast
~post on splitcoast
~shop on line for scrapping/stamping supplies and empty cart without making purchase (remembering that my sister and I just figured we could each have a brand new HD plasma TV with all the money we've spent on stamps lately)
~procrastinate on my work out
The card porn comment was so funny. When my son sees me here, he's like "I can't believe you find it interesting to look at so many different cards"...kids!
OK, now I really am going to sign off (for a while) and hit the treadmill ( I mean it this time!)
No snow here -- they are talking about snow tonight and maybe tomorrow but nothing bad -- probably not even an 1" here, more severe weather closer to Indy! With our luck though, it will get down in this Ohio Valley and bombard us -- which hasn't happened yet this year and don't expect it to this week either. I have waited all winter for a pretty snow -- just put a hottub on deck last spring and couldn't wait for the first snow to sit in the tub -- still waiting and probably will be!
Me too ! Between that and the galleries I am hopelessly (happily, though) stuck here ! I really do need to go and actually stamp today sometime !
I have a project for our church womens rally that I need to work on. I don't know where Jackie saw this but we are going to take the little 2" tiles and stamp on them and then glue them to the open end...the part you squeeze...of a clothes pin. They sit with the "jaws" up so they can be used as a notecard/recipe holder ! So very cute. My job is to find bible verses/flowers/,etc to stamp on the tiles. They want samples by next Sunday so they can decide and get started on making them.
I know I will be making them for teachers gifts, etc. Very cute, cheap, fast and easy ! My kind of project !
Guess I'll set my timer and read a little more before I start...tee hee !!!!
BTW....l-o-v-e the chicken !!!!

Where in No. Indiana are you from -- my husband is from DeMotte and we lived Schererville when we were first married. Have relatives still there and in Chicago.

I see that you are still "on"! I should be doing the invoicing, but stamping is soooo much more fun!
Too bad you can't be on the treadmill and the computer @ the same time!
Will be there this coming July for sorority convention -- guess we will be visiting Founders Park. Haven't been there since college -- my roommate was from there.

I have lived here my whole life and where is Founder's Park? I guess I don't get out enough! (I must be stamping too much!)LOL!

You know I'm really not sure -- I belong to Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority and the 5 ladies that started it all lived in Ft Wayne, IN. Every year we donate money to a fund in their memory to upkeep this park. This is an international friendship sorority and every year we go to convention in these great places, like Arizona, Texas, Maine, Florida -- and this year we get to stay in Indiana. What is there to do there besides the chocolate factory -- which appears to be our big tour!

Now I know about DeBrand Chocolate! I wonder if the park is Memorial Park? I looked up Founder's Park and found nothing. As for anything else to do in Fort Wayne....there isn't much! I still haven't been to DeBrands for the tour! There is Edy's Ice Cream here and they may give tours. (We haul ice cream for them.) The zoo is really nice too. Have a good trip!
I'm the same way. I'm only going to be here for a couple minutes then the next thing I know it's hours later. Which reminds me, I'm having lunch with my sister in a few minutes. I just got started and now have to pull myself away already. Oh, well. I'll be back.
Heheee... by starting this thread I've just given myself another thread to read too! Hahahaaa!!! It's neverending!!! I LOVE IT!
The SCS VoRtEx has a hold on you girl! Watch out it never wants to let go...I know check out my post #! It got me long ago and still won't let me go! LOL:razz:
honest, I did get "off" I just didn't sign off! Really!
Now there's a thought, hook up my computer to the treadmill....hhhmmmmm................thinking, thinking.
Sure! LOL! That's what I say too! But here I am again checking out what is going on! I can't stay away for more than a few minutes! Wonder what I am going to do for 3 days and no computer! (That will be the start of withdrawal!) LOL!:???:
Cooked the pasta till there was no water left in the pot!! Got to get off!!

It's kind of like football time, you know when there is 2 minutes left on the clock and you come back 15 minutes later and there is still 1 minute 30 seconds left on the clock. KWIM?

I just spewed tea all over my monitor. This is so funny. I can just see my DH saying that and it being so true. Sometimes I have to just be stern with myself and turn the darn this OFF! But it is so much more fun than cleaning!
Which one should I do??????
