I am a new lover of Hedgies, but my SU consultant does not have them nor are they in the catalog (that I can find). But, ebay listings, etc. indicate they are SU..... what's the story??

Hedgehogs are made by Penny Black (I think those are the ones you mean). I buy mine on Simon Says Stamp on ebay, and there are many other places that have them as well!
SU used to have hedgehogs. You can still find some on Ebay. They look a lot like Penny Black Hedgehogs. I'm not sure what the deal is. I'd like to know too! I think SU had Holiday Hedgehogs, Halloween Hedgehogs and Hedgehog Happiness. There is also a set called Cute Critters that has a hedgehog.

I guess that makes me old-I have all three sets-my Girl Scouts love them.(they are 15-16) If we are doing a stamping project, they always request that I bring them. Glad you mentioned them-they'd be perfect for the sketch challenge today.
HM stamps is great!! I wouldn't recommend SimonSays on ebay- his shipping and handling prices are crazy!! There is someone else on ebay who sells lots of pennyblack stamps and ships out of the Seattle area.. I think she is CountryStamper53... she is great with shipping prices and speed.

Just a tip that you might be able to request these images in a image swap. I haven't personally swapped images but my friend has and she really like that kind of swap. SO maybe you could to a Hedgies Only swap with others that have more hedgies etc.
I am a lover of Hedgehogs. I just ordered about 10 - 15 hedgehog stamps. I'm new to Splitcoaststampers and have never done an image swap and really not familiar with what the process is but I'm interested if you are.
I do have a hedgehog stamp (just a teeny one that demos give out for free) from SU, but if you are seeing a lot of hedgies that aren't SU come up it's because ebay sellers will use "keyword spamming"- so they put in irrelevant keywords that make it pull up when you search. You'll see a lot of non SU products this way, because SU is a popular keyword. It's against ebay rules, but people still do it.
