Question Have a Cheetah?

What do you think? I just saw this and wondered if it was a worthwhile tool. Is it easy to use? Is the adhesive reliable? Looks like it would be good to carry along when I am on the go. Any comments from Cheetah users are appreciated! Thanks!

I have one. I don't care for it. I bought it to do a few scrapping projects. I finished about half of one project and it ran out of tape. I then ended up using tape to finish the project and it wasn't that big of a project. I shoved it into the depths of a drawer. I personally wish I hadn't wasted the money on it. HTH.

I have one; I only got it because it was on clearance and only cost me around 3 or 4 dollars. I would not pay full price for one. The adhesive is good and sticks well, but I seemed to go through the cartridge quickly and the refills can be expensive.

It's a very good adhesive (permanent is the only variety I've tried), it's extremely easy to use and the cartridge is a snap to change out. I do like using it -- but not for everything....like every other adhesive out there it has it's place in our supply drawer for a reason. The reason to get a cheeta is to quickly apply a wide layer of great adhesive to the back of a cardstock panel -- great when you are doing mass production on cards and there are panels you want to get on the card as quickly as possible with the least amount of hassle -- the Cheeta excells at this!

Walmart has started to carry the Cheeta, so refills are easy to come by and that is also a consideration when buying an item like this.

I like the cheetah too, and use it the exact same way. It has it's place in my adhesive drawer.

I like mine alot. Got it at Pat Catans on clearance and I use it for alot of small scrapbook things like little flowers and such that are hard to glue down normally!

Let me start by saying I'm a card maker. I have it, I have used all the adhesive from the original. I have not refilled it or do I miss it or find myself reaching for it. I have it, but for me it's something I could have saved my money on.

We carried them at the LSS I worked at and I thought it was easy to use and the adhesive held really well, but I agree with the others it seems to run out really quickly, and it's on the pricey side if you pay full price for it. If you do *alot* of projects that require large surface areas to be glued it might be worth it, other wise I'd say pass.

Yup, mine is laying in the drawer as well. I loved using it, especially on mini books when covering pages. But it runs out really, really fast. I would go through a cartridge with one little mini book. Not good.

I have one and I Love it. I use it all the time for wallpapering my scrapbook pages, much easier and less heavy for the pages if that makes any sense. I have not used it for my cards yet, because the thought never occured to me but now sitting here thinking about it, it would be easier than photo splits.
