My LSS just got in Bazzill's new "Card Shoppe" cardstock and I am seriously excited.. I know, it's paper, big deal, but it is for us cardmakers, right?
Gorgeous, bright colours, an ultra-smooth surface, and sturdy like PTI.. I absolutely love it for card bases and layers but it's so nice for stamping too. I don't know how well it stands up to Copics (i just use Xpress blending CS) but I'll do a test in the next couple of days.
Just thought I would let you know! Ask your LSS to bring it in, or order it online... You'll love it!

I do have a local craft store that I'm going to check and tell them about it. Every craft store and the one scrapbook store in my area carries the 60 lb stuff that I hate.
Wow! I'll have to talk to the owner of the stamp store. I convinced her to bring in Neenah cardstock when I first started using copics. I know she already carries Bazzil so maybe she'll start ordering this cardstock. Most of the classes she puts on are for cardmaking. I've always wanted to try PTI but just couldn't bring myself to pay the shipping so if this is close to it. Hmmm....
Wow, awesome news Tobi! Does it seems as thick & sturdy as PTI's cardstock for bases? I'd love to give up PTI cs altogether, but I haven't found a suitable replacement.
I just looked again...and they have a color comparison video up now! (video by ccjellyb) She compares the Card Shoppe to PTI colors and to Hero Hues colors. Her thoughts are that the Bazzill is a bit stiffer than PTI. DEFINITELY interested now!
If you find someplace to get the paper, please post! I checked the store locator, no one nearby carries bazzill. I'm going to call my LSS's and see if they can get a sampler pack in for me.
Beautiful paper! I think my Michael's sells Bazzill, so going to check it out! Would be great to be able to get nice paper without shipping costs to Canada!
The convenience PLUS being able to support companies with great customer service PLUS reasonable shipping is what would sway me... For me, no one could put a price on that.
(Not to mention that Bazzill always runs about $0.40 a sheet from wherever you buy it..)

I know my Michael's and Joann's has had the regular Bazzill, and I always found it flimsy. OK for layers but not for a card base. I would love if they carried this new sturdier cardstock. It might be pricey, but I might like to buy just a few sheets of a color, not a whole pack. That would be ideal. If anyone sees the new stuff in the big box stores, please give a shout here!
Very interesting!! The colors do look pretty but I have to agree if they want to seriously compete the price point is too high. $10 for 25 sheets of paper is pretty hefty.
If you're looking for 100# smooth paper, Stamp School carries PopTone colors in 6x6 size, 8 1/2 x 11 size, plus matching inks and 100% wool felt to match the colors too.

I love PopTones!! The weight and colors are awesome and very comparable to PTI. I get mine from a different online retailer but its good to know about the matching inks and such!

I am a newbie here. and an old lady so forgive me if I did this quote thingy wrong. Um have you ladies checked HSN...??? They always carry Bazzill and usually on sale. Just a friendly heads up from an ol lady. Ya'll are so kind to one another I think I finally found my home away from home here.
Ya'll ladies have a great day
I checked with the lady that owns the stamp shop I like here and she said she won't be bringing it in until she checks it out at CHA. Can someone tell me when the next CHA is? I'm wondering if I can order online and get it before then and show it to her so she'll bring it in earlier....

I put up a response hun, but in case you didn't see it. Check HSN they usually carry it and its almost always on sale....Good Luck hunting!!!
It's not at HSN.. This is a brand-new product, don't know if that makes a difference.
Joan B,
Is it a certain collection..? I thought you were looking for Bazzill Cardstock!! Sorry for the mis-understanding. But HSN is always having "New Release's" or "Exclusives" and at a intro price too so keep your eye on it. I do hope you find what your looking for.
Good Luck Joan B.

MisDinTexas,
It is a new product by Bazzill. See the first post where it says
"My LSS just got in Bazzill's new "Card Shoppe" cardstock and I am seriously excited.."
Hope this helps so you can watch for it to someday be on the HSN.
I'm curious to see this new line. I haven't seen PTI paper because of the outrageous shipping costs for Canadians and I wouldn't dare try them out while they're undergoing major customer service issues which puts their business at risk of staying afloat in the future. I've seen Gina K's cardstock and love it. So if it is anything like this, we're in for a treat :-)

i have purchased PTI because I live really close to the US border and have a PO Box down there, and yes I know the Bazzill is more expensive than PTI, but it is really great CS. I also coloured on it with Copics the other day and it's awesome!
I don't know why people are upset over the price?! Doesn't everyone pay $0.40/sheet for their Bazzill? (or $0.50 if you're Canadian??)
